  1. Anyone considering doing business with this company should look beyond the low price to the complete lack of customer service. I have never had as negative an experience with a mobile phone co. I purchased a Samsung Freeform 2 phone which MetroPCS knew to have a design flaw which prevents the phone memory from being cleared. As a result, after about two months, the phone can no longer send or receive picture messagess or run other games or apps that I've paid for. MetroPCS accepts no responsibility for the problem and flatly and rudely refuse to help. Beware. When something sounds too good to be true, it usually is.

    3. i agree i went to the company to tell them my app for loopt and navigator werent workingthey said its your phone not us she didnt even try to fix the problem just tried to sale me a android phone and said my freeform phone was disconntinuted model which was not true my phone is only 10 months old and i had problems with it after two months my husband has the same phone we got it at the same time his phone apps work fine when exsplaining this to the sales clerk she couldnt grasp that we bought are phones together and they were the same model do not go to the metro store at basline and riverside in san bernadino california

    5. I completely agree, I pay a warranty fee to make sure if something goes wrong it would be fixed, as i come to find out they WILL NOT HELP ME. They blatenly lied right to my face and told me something would be done. To this day my phone has problems with the port where my charger goes, finally after i was completely fed up with buying new chargers because the employees told me that was the problem, i walked into a nearby Metro PCS store and was told that they will not fix it. That i would have to buy a new phone and my warranty would do me no good for this problem. If i knew that the warranty was to be no help i wouldnt have purchased it. So I get home from work today and my phone finally gives in and wont turn on so what does Metro PCS say " thats not my problem you dont know how to take care of your phone". Completely rude and ignorant. Not only does the customer service suck but so does my application processor and reception. I will be switching companies. Anyone doing business with this company should be aware to read fine print and do your research, also i would not recomend this company to anyone.

    6. Been trying to pay my bill on line since last night., their system answers with "having technical difficulties, try again." Eventually ended up calling help center where I was told they would gladly accept my payment but would charge me a 2 dollar "convenience" fee. Their system is broken and WE have to pay extra...I wonder how many people are being duped by this practice. To have to pay to pay your bill just doesnt seem right, especially when they control the access to the web page. Anyhow, the last CS rep tells me they'll waive the 2 buck fee and takes my credit card info....and promptly tells me it's been denied...(there's money in the account)...
      So, I dropped a copy of this on the Federal Trade Commission Complaint page...address below if anyone is interested. It may not do anything but somebody has to expend their time addressing the letter.

    7. I agree... We suffered similar story to some on these with local PCS store in Quakertown, PA! Foreign man sold us phone and plan. He said plan had to be more expensive plan and could change it then AFTER first month... said 4G plan we wanted wasnt available- only higher priced plan- unfortunately he already had swiped our credit card for first phone- but this made us WARY and then left store and went to Best Buy for 2nd phone. Poor coverage. took BOTh back- Best buy returned our 2nd phone, but origional store woudl NOT return our origional phone saying that we kept our number from Verizon & that nullified any returns. The man in the store THAT day was nasty- refused to get any higher up people on phone for us to talk with- refused to even get store OWNER on ophone saying that HE DIDNT WANT TO AND NO ONE COULD FORCE HIM TO! Then leaned back in his chair and LAUGHED AT US! VERY SEEDY organization. Tried calling their store today to see fi I coudl get ahold of an owner- and TEH STORE PHONE NUMBER IS DISCONNECTED! How seedy is that?!?! As you HAVE TO return phone to origional store- we now cannot return phone to ANYONE. Tried calling corporate numbers and such a series of press one for this and that that you cannot get ahold of a HUMAN to talk to! Once you do they are not helpful or shuttle you to anotehr department, HAve been on phone with them literally for 3 days stright! No results! Told the only thing I can do is to write to corporate (BY MAIL) and see if I get an answer... they say thay cannot take returns after 7 days... sure teh letter will get to them & this resolved by THEN- HUGE LOSS OF MONEY- DONT FALL FOR IT! Thanks fdor teh government Trade commision address... maybe some kind of help... or maybe enough people upset would shut them down completely!

I am upset because i was on the phone with a potential cliant and then the call was dropped. I didnt get my phone back till the next day and by that time i lost the contract because he thought i hung up on him. I think Metro should cover my losses but they told me in not so many words where i can stick it and loosing one customer is not going to affect them in any way shape or form. I would like to make them fold their doors. Anyone up for the fight?

    10. MetroPCS sucks terrible horrible customer service.

      For over a week I argued, begged and pleaded at every level, 6 store reps, 6 online reps. In my opinion all of them incompetent and many rude. Autopay account deleted and recreate at least 4 times. Everyone keeps saying the same thing just go in and update to account info. The account was even verified by a Corporate Center supervisor. Phone service has been shut off twice. Even after the store manager at the corporate Center assured me that it ad been restored.

    11. Hi I worked to Broad Tech on 1401 Lakeway Dr. #A in Lewisville Tx 75057 they do not apperciate their employees or customers . I know for a fact that items get sent there and then get sent back out . That company is alll messed up management is horrible they are having relation with eachother . Tim Robinson and Lisa Ling are sleeping together and I thought you are not supposed to do that . I quit my employement there because i was not going to get framed for doing something that I didnt do .I was hired on through temp in a dept where I sorted accersories . The supervisor didnt really care about that area justed wanted the things counted , boxed amd stored .It was a job a did what was asked then. The supervisor quit I did inventory and shipping area ! They put me there wasnt trained in that area . The funny thing is that they have two security gaurds and they have one of them doing inventory HES A SECURITY GAURD . The shipping area was worst ! When you pack an item you make sure that it stays put and not shake around when UPS comes they do their job to get the boxes . These people wouldnt be checking the esn to the the phones to make sure that it the wrong phone just counted the qauntity . When you pack an item its suppose to be speed, quantity and quality of the item that wasnt being done here . So when i packed i counted the phones if it was a big order made sure the esn matched , the right amount of phones , and put bubble wrap on the bottom of the box , set the phones nicely in the box made sure it wouldnt move alot of bubble wrap .When I'd pack I'd find alot of mistakes it would be short or over and wrong phone . I had no control and the supervisor there put the his employees in the wrong areas to work . I'd did my part to pleaseing the customeer because i would my purchase from anywhere to be a great experience . A company doesnt grow by having mistakes like that at all . Two days later I returned to the store the volume does not go up and the phone does not hole a charge.They told me since it had more than eight hours or talk time they could not take phone back. They did not offer to exchange phone.

      I purchased my Coolpad on 12/29/12 from Promo Wireleless in Willingboro, NJ. The advertised price in the window and on the website was $79. When Promo Wireless in Willgboro rang it up it came out to $99. They refuesed to honor the $79 price and said they had no control over what prices the register rang up! liars!! I called Customer Service 6 times and each time I got hung up on after 20 minutes of trying to explain the problem.

  4. I bought my first android phone from metro PCS last
    month.i bought it solely to surf the web. didn't
    need it as a phone because i have an amazing at&t phone that charges like
    crazy to web browse. initially i was satisfied with it. it was the new 4g
    samsung galaxy indulge..which ran me 400 dollars, but after two weeks my
    Internet stoped working completely. i called metro customer service with my
    concern and they said they'd refresh my phone and to turn it off and back
    on. i did that and the problem still wasn't fixed, so two days later i
    called back and explained my dilemma. they asked me to call back from
    another touch tone phone, so they could reprogram my phone. I did but my
    problem wasn't fixed (now this is after the fourth call i made about the
    same concern) They told me that metro was experiencing service problems in
    my area. i told them that i wouldn't pay my bill for only a week or two of
    my Internet working. so they offered me a ten dollar discount. by this time
    i was outraged and annoyed with the same two stupid line customer reps use,
    so i asked to speak with a supervisor. and i told her that i didn't want my
    phone because of all the problems and hassles it has already caused me. she
    and i quote "told me that she would put a note on my account and i could
    take my phone into a corporate store where they would help me with my
    return." when i went in though i was told they wouldn't return the phone
    because of the metro promise. i am in the process of filing a consumer
    complaint and a lawsuit. due to the simple fact that metro PCS gave me the
    run around and BS'd me the whole time!!!!!

Ive been having the same issues as well going on for 8 months ive been through 9 phones still same bs had samsung rep himself on phon at mcart store in ft worth tell store mgr they frauduantly sold me phone there service was not good enough only 2g speeds at best ..     2. Yeah, I had been with metro for a year now, I finally upgraded my phone to an android. Since the second day it has been shutting off by itself, battery is fine, and it could just be sitting on my desk and I go to check it, and it's off. My initial reaction was oh, well this sucks, I guess I will just have to take it back. So the next day I had called their 1888 number, and they said to go to the store I had purchaced from and they will be able to exchange it there. I call the store, just to be on the safe side, and they had told me that I have to go to a corp. store to do that, and said it's located not far from where I live. But the week before, the woman I had purchaced the phone from had told me that the nearest corp. store was at least two hours from where I live. So I let it go, and as the week progressed, the problem seems to be happening more often. So today is day seven of me having this phone, and if I can't get an exchange, today is the last day that I can return it. So I had talked to someone on the phone at the customer service, to go to that store to do it, and I asked them to call ahead or provide me the number to make sure that I could make the return, they said oh well, we don't have that information. So whatever, I will just drive over there. I get there and he said well, I can't help you, our system is down. So I said, well when is it going to be up, he replied, maybe tomorrow. I said this is day seven, if I bring it back tomorrow, will you return it for me. He said no I can't. So now I'm really getting pissed off. He said he is the manager and he said I can go to the other store and have them return it. I said are you sure they will do it, can you please call, gas isn't cheap, and I'm really tired of this bull shit. So he calls and sends me to the other store, when I get there the lady there said, well my boss called me back and said I can't return it since this isn't the store I bought it from. I'm like are you fucking kidding me. SO then she said well you can take it back tomorrow and he will do the return, I said when I was there he told me I could NOT do that, but now its ok?! She was on the phone with him at the time and she said, "He never told you that" I said Bull Shit, I wouldn't have drove down to this store if he said I could not do it tomorrow. SO then I'm calling customer service and the first guy said I'm sorry, I asked to speak to someone in charge, and he said no, they don't take calls. So I'm like well someone has to do something, and since you said you can not do anything, maybe you should go talk to thenm for me. So finally he puts me on hold, and hangs up on me. So later I called again, to see what needs to be done, or if ANY ONE can help me. She said, well I can't help you, all I can do is give you information, and I'm like yeah... all false info, everyone keeps telling me different shit and I'm getting tired of it... if by chance they will return it tomorrow, I'm cancelling my service once I fufill the month that I paid for and going somewhere else where ppl know what the fuck they are doing

    4. Just went w metro. spent $300 on a Lg 4g. Already had the phone replaced once when it kept shutting off and finally wouldn't come back on. New phone now also starting to shut off for no reason. Metro coverage so far is better than I expected but their customer service sucks and so do their phones. Since I paid for a nice 4g phone I can't afford to switch companies until someone has a free phone promo. I will not be staying with metro for more than 6 months regardless. I would advise not to ever be suckered into metro pcs.

  6. I purchased two phones and simply wanted to switch mine and they made it impossible!! They wanted everything down to the freaking plastic it was wrapped in! Finally I got it all together and I went in and they said since my number was the main line I would have to return my husbands too..like wtf are you kidding me?! So fed up I returned the whole dam thing and it took them 21 days to refund me! Then 2 weeks later they took out another 660 dollars for no dam reason! I guess you get what you pay for 50 bucks a month for a bunch of bull shit!

  7. my phone got stolen went to get a new phone.I would think u would treat ur customers better then that i guess u got to big to fast.so here are the charges for losing your phone or getting our phone stolen ok 59.00 for phone 10.00for pqsn0400 2.00 discount 13.99 sd flash card that they said we needed or phone will not work 12.00 for qtp431 and 10.00 upgrade that i didn't need 6.44 tax get this $109.43.this is a joke and people would not be so mad if u would keep it real.so when my son that is 14years old came home with the phone i could not believe what they made him pay for.then when i sent my daughter that is 21 to get the money back they told her no refund.i guess metro pcs forgets that the cutomes make u.wow this is what u become good luck how much would u have made a year off me just to make me pay for the phone and service ur lost there's a lot of phone company out there that respect there cutomes.o and they didn't have the phone that was stolen so i had to buy a new one thats where they say upgrade so they dont have to refund u.ill pay at boost same price better service. there employes work on Commission buyer beware they dont care about us.

    It is amazing the complaints that are here. I have been with Metro PCS for at least 8 years. I have not had the problems that the other customers have experienced. 1/2011 I bought My LG Optimus Android. I have had the occasion of it freezing from time to time, because it is a computer after all. When I had a problem with my Samsung Code, I called it in and they told me to go to a main store. I went there, customer service was wonderful. I do not know where the other customers are from, I am from Dallas, if I went to the main store in Mesquite, or in Plano, I have received great customer service. My mother now has my code phone. I was able to understand that Metro PCS stop exchanging phones. One thing I will not do is purchase insurance, because you will end up paying for a new phone. But like the lady said about her son having to pay $109.43, that is better than having to pay $400.00, although, it was not Metro's fault that the phone was stolen. Like with any insurance you have to pay a deductible. Sorry Metro PCS that customers have become so spoiled and we begin to think that just because you are a nationwide company and we assisted you in getting there, that you should kiss our hinny part. No way no how. Everything that happens to us is not a companies fault. I love my phone, and I have not had any problems with Metro PCS. Good day to you all.

    1. I have the same phone you do. Through no fault of my own the phone has been freezing, restarting, and blinking since day one. I have called and talked to several customer service representatives and talk to several clerks and managers at different stores. Every time I try to resolve the problem I am cordial and understanding, because I know the clerks do not make the rules. Nevertheless every time I am treated like garbage. Like I am trying to con the company out of millions of dollars. I have terrible signal, slow internet, a freezing blinking restarting phone, and it is all together ridiculous. All they have done for me is restart my phone and check the battery. The last phone I had with them had the same problem. It was a Samsung something or another, not a smart phone. I had to pay ten dollars, that I honestly could not afford, to return it even though the company really should back the merchandise they are selling instead of charging the customer. The clerks and service lines people are rude and accusatory. Most of my time spent dealing with them is just me defending myself against their name calling and guilt trips. I get questions like "Are you stupid enough to keep your phone in your pocket?" And I find it ridiculous that customers should have to pay a fee to pay their bills.
      Spoiled? I don't think so. Wanting of common respect and human decency? Yeah, I think I deserve that much. I am not looking to get anything for free. I want what I was told I was paying for: A working phone and service, a good product, a helpful courteous company, and useful customer service.
      You aren't the majority of the customers they have slighted, you are the exception. Congratulations. I had great service too until a year and a half ago. Then everything started rolling down hill in a run away ball of garbage. I am tired of being treated like a criminal every time I have a problem and ending up fighting with them just so it can all result in the same conclusion every time: Nothing gets fixed.
      I am by no means spoiled. I just expect the company to stand by it's word and what I pay for. They are more than happy to take my money, and then my extra money I have to pay for paying them money. But they are not happy to help or provide real functioning service.

Try explaining this, you moron... I have been a PCS customer for several years. 3 days ago, I lost all reception at home. Upon further investigation, I discovered that there was a 1 mile-wide area completely blacked out of all service. I drove a mile away, called PCS, and have since been trying to get someone to realize there is a major outage and irt needs to be fixed. It's now 3 days later, and there's still no service. I've even spoken to the CEO's son at Corporate HQ, still nothing. Try taking your head out of your ass and your foot out of your mouth before venturing an ill-conceived, bullshit opinion. Just how are you related to this company and how much do they pay you to defend them?

    4. I only had metro pcs for less then a month and I am trying to transfer. I was lie to and trick all on the first day. Since then I have got nothing but lies and the run around. Right now they want even give me my sim network unlock pin number to their phone so I can leave them and go to another cell phone company.

  9. I purchased 2 phones for my kids. There was another line on the account that was already active. The employee Jorge at the El Monte, CA store did not inform us about the proration on the account when you add lines. So, two days later the new lines were suspended, EVEN THOUGH they were paid up until October 4! I tried contacting the customer service number and could not through to a live person until a fucking payment was made on the account. Called the store where the phones were purchased from, had the worse customer service experience on the phone. So, we took the phones back and spoke to the person that helped us initially. This person is not knowledgeable to hold his job in customer service, is rude and argues with customers, again his name is Jorge. I asked for corporate's number and he tried to give me the number to that stupid, tucked up automated system they have. He could not present the address to corporate. The manager on duty did not do anything to address the issue of him getting smart with me. So, corporate and the Better Business Bureau will be getting complaints on him and Metro PCS. This is the worse company ever to have phone service with! All thumbs down and fingers up their assess!

Metro pcs is a rip-off. you purchase your original phone and they offer you insurance which isnt worth it because you end up buying another phone anyway. also if you purchase a phone and dont buy the insurance they will trade out your phone for a USED PHONE if not working properly with a fee and they can order for you which will take about 5 business days, or they can charge you $30 instead for a USED phone out of their store directly....I have traded out the same samsung hawaii ascend android phone now over 4 times because the phone either stops charging, freezes up as times, stores multiple contacts for one contact in your phone..for every contact listed and they want you the customer to manually delete them all because they dont know why it does this. now my phone is completely FROZEN and you cant unlock it at all. the people in the coporate office on Hulen St in Fort Worth TX are so stupid and cant unlock it or fix it at all. They reps are extremely rude and unconcerned and a POORLY MANAGEMENT staff. the management can order you another phone of the same exact model knowing the phone isnt worth shit, and will tell you the phone isnt any good and they stopped selling them. but at the same time they sold them and will continue to replace them through manufactor. collectiing money on a phone they no longer sell. HOW WRONG CAN YOU BE. this is extremely poor customer service, and I wouldnt advise ANYONE to use this phone or their service. I have children who have to reach me on this phone yet they cant contact me because my phone is frozen. i have to wait 5 business days and they wont adjust your bill for not being able to receive service. God forbid I have a TRUE EMERGENCY REGARDING ONE OF MY CHILDREN.....IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO EITHER OF THEM WHILE I WAIT FOR A PHONE .....METRO WILL PAY! I will have it nationally known.

  11. I have had 8 phones from Metro PCA in the past three years and I think that if I could afford another carrier I would leave but due to the economy I can't afford to change my service. I bought a Samsung Code in April of this year and now I am replacing the phone for the second time but before that I had the Motorola ve230 which I replaced three times in a year. the best phone I have had with Metro was the Samsung Freeform and that one just got so scratched up I could not read it anymore. Today I had to order a new phone from Metro to replace my Smasung Code then had to buy another phone until I get my other one in next week. I think that Metro should have to reemburse me for the phone I just bought.

You have been a pay to pay service. not date to date. i just called 3 times to get help. the first time i got hung up on, the second time the woman got an attitude, and the 3rd one would listen to anything i had to say and kept correcting me. who do you have running your lines because thier customer service is complete crap!! If I didnt pay till the 20th, I should have until the 20th of this month correct? not on the 16th cuz then i would be paying for not even for a whole months service. but you guys would be profiting off of it. If you dont do something to make a change and quick, you will be losing another customer and I will be spreadin the word about how trashy the company is so you cant profit off of them. >:(

I have been with Metro for 3yrs now and was out of state working for 10 months came back to Tx and nearly 2months after I am back I get a text message saying they were going to disconnect my phone due to off network usage....Talked to several people was advised to pay my bill and that they shouldnt cut my phone off since I was back in Texas....Paid the bill and that afternoon they disconnected my phone.....Why the hell wasnt it cut off while I was out of state instead of after I had gotten back and been back nearly 2 months???? I have called so many different numbers and have gotten so many different answers that it makes no sense......I think they are ripping alot of people off......

  15. Metro service cannot support all of their customers I have had 3 different phones and my calls drop constantly. I have called and visited their corporate store too many times. How many times can a phone be refreshed, they tell me its me yet I have freionds who say the same thing it all started about 6 months ago. their customer base is too large for metro to give good signals. IU cannot thinkk of any other explanation. And their customer sevice reps are rude and talk to you like your an idiot.

Phone service is great but Support is terrible...you can not even speak with a live person unless the account is paid - the problem is I can't pay the bill because of internal errors with the account number. And it is the same account number since May 2010 and nothing has changed. So I am left having to cancel subscription and renew in order to correct the issue. It is insane having to do this not to mention the 4 hours I have already spent going back and forth between my bank (Bank of America) and Metro PCS...not a happy customer at this time.

  18. I bought a minute by minute phone back in June. I got my first card in a Walmart close to me. When I went to get the second card , 4 different Walmarts told me they dont carry this card anymore. I went to one of the main MetroPCS stores and they said they dont sell this card.
    When I call customer service the only solution they gave me was to drive an hour to another Walmart that had the card. The other solution given to me was to change the plan to a by week for $14.00 or by month for $40.00.

    I bought this phone for my dad who only carries it for no more than 10 calls a month. Why would I pay $14.00 or $40 a month for something that I am not planning to use.

    I think MetroPcs is selling this product by false advertisement since after you buy the phone you are not able to get a second card

  21. I have a pay as you go phone with the $40.00 payment plan. I got it on the 12th of the month. So my payment is due the 12th of the month. I was instructed that if I did not pay it on the 12 I wouldn't have service, since it is paid for the month in advance. I am poor. I unfortunately had to go for a month without. Because you pay a month inadvance for service I paid my service on the 12th of this month Novemeber 2011. I did not get service. Instead I got a text telling me to pay 79.00. When I called I was told had I paid later in the day I would have gotten service but because of the time I paid they said it was for the previous month of which I had no service.The said they could change it in the computer but would not. I went to the store and they just put me on the phone with the same place. They then lowered the payment due back to $40.00. I did not owe for October because I had no service.The payment I made is for November. This is a pay as you go phone with no contract. Is this the way you treat your customers robbing the poor to make your money? This is not the way you treat a long time customer or any customer. I will be intouch with people in authority on this including the BBC. I paid to have my phone turned on. I want it on.I don't owe any money to you.

  22. I purchased the LG Esteem about a week after it was released. So far (1) the battery does not last 10hrs with WI-FI, blue tooth, and everything else you can think of turned off. (2) It randomly reboots throughout the day. (3) No MM texts when WI-FI is enabled. (4) Random "New Voicemail" message in notification tray, even though Visual Voicemail does not say there is and when you call in there are no new messages present. Live Chat customer service is a joke, if it deviates from one of there scripts they're lost. This is my first LG and my first time with Metro. I think I made a mistake with both. I should have stayed with my HTC on my other network.

  24. ive been talking to them 7 times, 4 supervisors and they cant find my payment however it was taken out of my account. Phone has been turned off 3 times. I ask them for a email adress to send a copy of my confirmation email and my bank statement and they will not provide me with one. They want a fax and i dont have access to a car or a fax. this company has the worst customer service i have ever experienced in my 42 years of living. I also ask for a phone number to someone above the supervisor and they will not give me one. I am about 5 min from heading to the metro pcs store and returning my phone and cutting off this crappy service.

When I bought the phones two of them Total of 300.00 they advised me that they had service in Virginia. I had bought them in Pa. but was moving to Va. and they advised they had service all along the east coast just to make the sale after my plan would be 75.00 per month for the two phones I purchased. I wanted to eliminate a home phone being that I unlimited local and long distance and web on it. Lo and behold they do not have coverage where I am and can not use my phone at all. I have been calling and calling and they will do nothing for me just telling me I am out of the the calling area. Why would I have spent 300.00 for two phones where they do not cover the area I live in telling me I am out of the contract limits. WHATTTTTTTTTT ?????? They useless in their customer service and have yet to get a hold of Corporate Headquarters, all I get is the same stupid messages they have on the 611 calls,,,, nothing they can do huh???   28. Just bought 4 phones through MetroPCS authorized dealer Unlimted PCS on North Beach St in Fort Worth, TX. So far, so good with the Metro service, but wanted to drop a note saying Unlimited PCS has provided excellent customer service. Went back to the store today because I was having an issue receiving picture text messages. Valerie helped me and resolved the issue. She was pleasant and efficient. I am also fed up with Metro PCS, me and my husband have the optimus LG and my daughter has another type of touch screen, but the screens constantly freezes up and you spend more time taking the phone back to the store only for them to give you a refurbished phone trying to pass it off as a new phone. I download an app on my LG Esteem (battery Saver) apparently it does more than just saving the batter.Somehow, its not allowing me to go on internet with 4G and I ended uninstall the program, and call the customer support. Still not working. Customer Support suggested for me to go into the corporate office, which is a waste of my time, and not able to fix the problem. Get this, because I purchased the phone on line and not from corporate office, they will not do any further. Instead they requested for me to call the 1-888-8metro8 which was the original customer service that I called in first place. They bounce you around, and they have the nerve to tell you that there is nothing they can do. What kind of bs is this? I ended up with $300 phone that lasted only 3 months. They should call this METRO BS. This is one phone company that need to get eliminate. on

I tried to pay my bill over the phone as usual and got a customer service rep that took all of my info.card number and all then told me the paymnet wouldn't go through to call the next day. Well I couldn't because they turned my service off. From then on its been one thing after another. The lastest in this saga is I paid my bill in a Metre pas dealer and they double charged me. And well not give me my money back.

  33. I went into MetroPCS to inquire about their Blackberry and service and decided to think about it. On way out of store, the manager low-balled me with a price for a phone "same thing" as a Blackberry and if I bought right then he'd give me a good deal of $85 and they could transfer all my information (not true, only contacts transferred). I paid the $85, walked out with the Huawei Pinnacle clone Blackbery. When I tried to use various functions, I was told I had to pay more for a higher plan. They lied to me about it being same thing as Blackberry; not even close and about the service. I took phone back next day and they were rude and did not want to refund my money when receipt clearly says full refund in 7 days, no questions asked. They finally gave me refund for the phone purchase, but refused to refund or prorate the $48 in prepaid airtime service for which I had used 17 minutes. I will file complaints with BBB and FL Dept. of Consumer Affairs. Go to ripoffreport.com/MetroPCS and after reading you will never use these crooks again.

  35. I've been a MetroPCS customer for 5 years. I bought a new Samsung Admire phone on January 2, 2012. On January 6th I went back to the store because the battery would not charge and would run down in just a few hours. Kept getting the error message "Battery no compatiable". When I tried to return the phone NOT to get my money back but to get another phone, MetroPCS would not give me a new phone, rather all they would offer me was a refurbished phone. That makes no sense. Buy a new phone and 4 days later offer to give you a refurbished phone. BEWARE TO ALL NEW CUSTOMERS...METROPCS HAS THE WORST SERVICE AND TREATS THERE CUSTOMERS WITH NO RESPECT. My daughter is a college student in Alabama and they sent her a notice to turn her phone off with only a weeks notice because they said she's outside her service, I called and asked for two more weeks so that a can find another provider and they just said sorry, it's nothing we can do... Now my daughter is out a state without a phone... I'm leaving Metro Pcs, I have put up with alot with this company but this is it... I'm gone, No more metro pcs..     what really pisses me off is they have changed the way you pay your bill online (if you pay using the phone they charge an additional $2.00) - i used to go online and just enter my phone number and credit card info and was done - this morning i attempted for 40 yes 40 minutes to pay my bill - and finally gave up - i talked to 2 different supervisors that where near impossible to understand )))) what away to run a company

I pulled out after porting my house phone to a cell phone. The Samsung battery stop holding a charge.   42. I have been a loyal customer of metropcs for several years. At this point they need to change there advertisment. They no longer offer unlimited long distany calling. I am part of a "LIVE" prayerline. We meet and pray a half hour Monday through Saturday on the telephone. Its service by Free Conference call. Metro has dropped this number from there unlimited calling list. It would not be a big deal accept this line is used to "PRAY" only. It is as if Metropcs do not want their customers to pray. We can call any other number and talk or gossip but not "PRAY". Something is very wrong here. I'm encouraging all their customers who wish to "PRAY" to switch to a service that will allow you to "PRAY". DO NOT SUPPORT A SERVICE THAT DOES NOT LIFT THE LORD UP! I tried to reactivate my son's phone, the $42 was deposited into the wrong account, I called "customer service" and was told there is nothing that can be done, I spoke to two "customer service representatives" and a "Customer Service Supervisor", whom after asking me the name and password on the account where my money was sent, Hung up on me because they didn't know what to do to get the money back into MY SONS account. I called the Corporate office and got a voicemail box. This is the worst Carrier ever and I will inform everyone I know about my experience with metro pcs.

  46. Back on December 30,2011 I purchased two phones that would be available for the $25.00 a month plan for up to 5 lines. We had three line already active on that account just was add two more. The Metro rep missed informed me by telling me that my bill would be 125.00 a month and 5.00 for navigation. I got a text message saying my payment was 198.00 January 2012 and it was due on the 28th. I went to the Newark De authorized dealer in the Newark shopping center. They say oh we made a mistake there nothing they can do about it now, called Corp they said go to an authorized dealer, went back and got nothing. I will not recommend this company to no one anymore. The customer service stinks. I only had the phones for one month now they say I will not get my rebate because I let my service go.But come on why would I pay 200.00 for basic phones when we had the metro androids. the purpose was to save money not add money.

  48. I have been with metro pcs for 4years and 3 mths, i called cust. serv and got nothing but sorry , sorry sorry, sir sorry but we cant do anything about that. I will be leaveing metro pcs and takeing all of my family with me all 7 accounts 8 includeing mine. For the math on that we all have accounts with smart phones ( 50x8 = $400.oo a mth.) Supposedly metro doesnt send out the text messages that tell you your bill is due also if you go on line, it wont give you accurate messages on amout due. I spoke with operator # 704743 and supervisor # 703933, and they were rude and not helpful. All I asked for was to be refunded the $2.00 fee, they said flatout, "theres nothing we can do for you" over 2 dollars they will loss 400 a mounth. Not good bussiness, SHAME ON YOU METRO, I WILL TAKE MY MONEY ELSE WHERE. YOU ARE FIRED.

Even if the payment gets there on time they take 10 days to post it to the customer's account.     i've had metro backup for a year and a half. my phone got damaged, got a new one. when i asked why my metro back up wasn't working the said there was nothing they could do. in this day of sparce work every contact is your potential next meal for your family. i've lost all my contacts and when i try to call the corprate office to explain and try to at lest get my money back for over a year of paying for a important service that supposed to be a back up in case of things going wrong, i get no real person to talk to! METRO PCS SUCKS PURE AND SIMPLE!

  59. For over a week I argued, begged & pleaded at every level, 6 store reps, 6 online reps. In my opinion all of them incompetent and many rude. Autopay account deleted and recreate at least 4 times. Everyone keeps saying the same thing just go in and update to account info. The account was even verified by a Corporate Center supervisor. Phone service has been shut off twice. Even after the store manager at the corporate Center assured me that it ad been restored.

    Then I found the emails for coroprate HQ. Two emails to three execs and the problem was fixed in hours.You do the math. Corporate email, fax number, phone number and my complaint letter is at http://SwensonStudio.com/MetroPCS.htm

    I gave Metro PCS 2 years of business and in that time they could have done many things to keep me as a customer.
    Improve service
    Improve Customer Service
    Improve the system getting to a CSR
    Give me a discount when mistakes were make or loss of connection for more then 4 hours.
    When I moved to a new apartment in a different zip code but within the same county (only 11 miles difference) I received connection errors on a daily basis - I could literally almost set my schedule to it.
    First call of the day
    Calling public transportation
    during peak hours of LA traffic

    But no.... money is much more important to Metro PCS than quality service. SO I'm happy to tell you Metro PCS that I have left you for your competition - Boost Mobile.

    From day 1 Boost Mobile jumped in via Facebook, Twitter & finally email to help me out with a phone I didn't buy directly from them. They even followed up this morning to ensure it was still working.

    Now THAT is Customer Service and shows that the company cares about it's customers.

WE PAY THEM and for sometimes crappy service. we are dumping these a_ _ holes and getting a company that appreciates our business.

  63. i am a disable vet with a manual phone due to my medical needs,i need a voice command phone to call for HELP when needed.I attempted to change phone companies,metro pcs was suppose to send the info to the other so i could keep my same phone.Metro pcs said it would take 8 hours to handle this,it is going on 48 hours and it still has not been taken care of!!!It is clear that metro is not taking care this hoping that i will stay with the company,also i was hung up on 5 time in an attempt to have me stay with the company.It is extremely clear to me that metro pcs does NOT care about VETS,its ONLY concern is getting my MONEY$$$$ at all cost.Now i have called there support service and they continually hung up on me,it seems that it is company policy to frustrate the customers enough that they will not which companys..I have ALL the operaters ID no# that hung up on me,i plan to call there HQ to see what the company is going to do about this.At 12:00 pm my phone will be turned off,because they refused to forward my info to the other company so i would have service tonite and in the morning.. Again i am a disable vet that needed to upgrade to a voice command phone,so i could yell out for help and the phone will do the work..I plan to have my sister run a story on this for ABC News whom she works for,i will make sure that it is aired in the state of TX for sure,with me sitting in my wheelchair explaining how they treat a DISABLE VET!!! This is real B.S. I am not looking for much,but i am going to call the HQ in the morning and see what type of response i receive from HQ.

NO ONE TOLD HER THAT THERE WERE POWER OUTAGES IS THE REASON HER PHONE WAS NOT WORKING.   66. I joined Metro PCS in January of 2012. My sister has them and talked me into it. I was able to pay half the price of my usual cell phone bill. It seemed alright until I realized how cruddy they are!!!!!!!!!! I was receiving call after call asking for some guy I don't know. I told them again and again to not call me, to take me off their call list, that I was not him, that I don't know him....I even tried telling them he was dead and to stop calling. Nothing worked. Eventually, I contacted Metro PCS to change my number. I was so mad when they tried to charge me for that! I told them flat out that they were going to change it and they were going to slide the fee. They did, but I'm worse off now that before. Now I am receiving calls for a different lady and I'm even getting calls from people speaking Spanish. I tell them to stop calling but they wake me up at 4am and don't stop calling until 11pm!! So illegal! I asked Metro PCS if I could add blocked calling (which you have to pay for every month and download an app that takes up a lot of valuable storage space) but it's useless. The numbers are not complete numbers and cannot be added. Needless to say, I'm not paying another bill. I'm going back to Verizon. What a dream they were compared to the h e double hockey sticks I've been in!

  67. Wow never again with this bull crap. I had paid for my fiance's HTC WildFire and 2 local Metro places told us to Fck off that they were not going to assist us. The issue is with her System update for the phone but she has already attempted 4 WiFi connections (Mc Donalds, Vons, Starbucks, etc..) and the system update keeps telling her to connect to a WiFi. I have already had it with this compony when calling in and getting hung up on by 3 agents in Customer care 1 in technical support THEN i speak with a supervisor and he tells me he was going to call me back at 10:00 AM PST (6/2/2012) and NEVER does. I have had it with MetroPCS NOT assisting the paying customer's for their products. I am a very and i mean VERY upset customer.

  68. I have been a Metro PCS customer since September 2011. In Feburary I purchased two lines and the retailer gave me the paper work to receive a $50.00 rebate. I received a $25.00 rebate for one line, but because the other line was phone number transfered over from another provider ( I assume this is the issue ) rebate custmer service is telling me the activation date needs to be confirmed by Metro PCS customer service before they can issue the other $25.00 rebate.



    So, today I've spent close to an hour going back and forth; from the rebate center to Metro PCS customer service, spoke to several supervisors with no resolution. I am issuing a payment of $135.00 a month for three lines, my payments are prompt and I'm getting the run around, being tossed in the air like a volley ball from one customer service to the other. I can't even get help with $25.00, if I knew it was going to be like this I would of stayed with T-Mobile.



    Can anyone at Metro PCS resolve issues?

It just happens to be the phone that belongs to my elderly mother, if metro does not fix this its going to go down, I happen to have a sue happy uncle with enough spare time to fu-- with them.

I also have a house in California, but he used my Oregon address and said everything will work!! bull!!! so in other words he stright up lied to me. Talked to so called customer Servise dept Rodger 15818 and he tells me I am off grid and will have to shut my phone off. I am beyond pissed right now.   74. I have had service for almost three years. I got a text saying they are terminating my service.Then a text saying pay seventy dollars or service will be turned off. I paid the 70.00 and they still shut off the service.. Its bad business to just shut off the service and not be able to get a hold of anyone.I have been on the phone two and a half hours just trying to get a hold of someone trying different sites and numbers and all the same results duuuuuuuuuuuuu. Call 1800 311-8068 recording saying to read their one and a half or longer page on terms and conditions.As if I need them. We are the customers who pay for them to have a business. We are not criminals we are paying for services rendered. They act like we are the ones breaking the law. Vvery very very very very bad service and business procedures.Plus I have been looking for work and using this useless number to fax and email. Now all my efforts all my faxes and contacts are useless. Yes I am up to looking into getting together to sue. I have lost alot of contacts because of this.

  75. Metro has a very bad ref and they are not trying to do anything about it because they are still making money...so why care? I went to Eastland Mall, on 8 mile in Michigan...the only Metro dealer in Eastland Mall...beware he removes the SD cards from the phone before he sells it to you, so please check your phone fully..he will tell you it is your fault you should have checked...he charges you $10.00 to transfer you contacts, after you pay for your phone your contacts are not transferred he says you have to transfer them one by one...this guy needs to be sent back to his country by a mule and a rope....

  80. Before moving to Peach Springs, AZ we asked if we would have service on our phones and we paid a few months in advance because we were assured that we would have service. Well now that we know that to be untrue, we've been trying to reach the corporate office to get a refund and so far no luck. Ive left emails and made calls. The staff in the Las Vegas area are not well trained or have any customer service skills.

Theya re hacking phones and numbers gamers are cyberbullied harassed and then banned when you file reports on the hacking or other issues. New town Games has no business address.   85. Service disconnected today. During the first several calls to both customer service and the Metro store where I purchased the phone and pay the monthly bill. Actually made a payment on Oct 12th, I was told a request came in today to cancel my service. huh!!!!! I explained I did not give authorization to cancel my phone service. They couldn't even open my account to reinstate service because my passwords didn't work. I asked "what information do you require for the request to cancel service?" The answer was "The Password." What the hell!!! After more than 7 calls (stopped counting) was told "service cancelled by corporate under policy of off net usage roaming". About six months ago I left Michigan to work on the east coast, still in the U.S., never crossed water. Was never informed that Corporate would cancel my phone service Without Notice, Deactivate My Password, so no one from Metro can assist me. What I've learned about Metro is terribly disturbing. I can't use my phone if I'm gone away from home too long. My service can be deactivated without notice. Was never told, informed, or warned about "off net usage roaming". I want my last payment money back. I will be informing CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC, local media, and whom ever else I can tell until someone listens and of the business practices of Metro PCS. I suggest U do the same. Right is right and fair is fair.

  87. I purchased a ZTE SCORE 2 months ago as an "upgrade" on my current service. When I went in, I had done my research and knew exactly what phone I wanted. I walked up to the sales guy in our mall and told him what I wanted and he shot me down. He was explaining how the ZTE SCORE was better and less expensive. I had never heard of a ZTE ANYTHING before that day. I questioned the salesman about the size of the processor in a ZTE and if it came with a 4g SD card like the one I chose for myself. He was way off on his info that he gave to me about the phone. And I only noticed that AFTER purchasing it and getting it home. Now, 2 months later, my phone is no more useful than a paper weight. A $140 paper weight at that. I believe the problem is a defective battery. It will not charge past 17% and when you disconnect the charger the battery is drained. I read the book it said zte had a 1 yr warranty. When I took the phone in, the sales guy there was no more knowlegible than the guy who sold it to me. He said it was my charger and I would have to BUY a new one, myself cuz they have no responsibility for anything with the phone. Why the hell??? I wasn't asking for a refund, only new phone. I can't believe that my favorite cellphone company let me down.

He wanted to change his number so we did and now i find out they have been charging me for old number this whole time i think they owe me a refund. I called and the person who was helping me said they don't refund. That's when i asked for the corporate number and her name along with her suprvisor name and she would'nt give it to me. Now I'm going above heads to see if the service is really that bad

  89. today will probably be my last day as a metro pcs customer. judging by the number of customers in the cooperate store on tara blvd. in jonesboro, ga. and the total lack of interest by the store manager erika i will not be missed. my problem started in november with a lost phone and a claim filed for a replacement. all went well until i located the lost phone. i called the insurance to let them know the phone had been located, and was instructed to return the replacement phone. a process that normally takes 2-3 business days turned into 25. each week i called and spoke with a different tech.to lazy to check. there responses went from stupid to just plain outrageous. hurricane sandy, a mud slide in california, and my favorite the shortage of help at the processing ceter would make it difficult to tell when the phone was received. in any case each call ended with give it some time and call back. it actually took 5 business days for the phone to be processed and logged into returns(i found that out yesterday). up to and including today the service has not, i repeat has not been restored to my phone. my phone is in the negative file. for some reason there is no connection between assurian insurance and metro pcs other then the money they successfully steal from customers. i have gone back and forth between the 2 companies each swearing they have done what was needed to transfer the service and if i have any further problems contact the other. i have given the serial number on this phone to so many represenatives i know the number by heart. today in the metro pcs store i called assurian insurance and had erika speak with the represenative. she hung up the phone told me the phone would be on at 15:30 tomorrow turned and walked away. i have paid for a month of service and received no service.

  90. I bought a phone from a Huawei M860 phone from a MetroPCS Kiosk in Jacksonville, Florida. Nobody bothered to explain the difference between corporate stores and contract stores for MetroPCS. I was over charged for the phone. Components that were supposed to be in the box were not there. Nobody bothered to explain to me that the headset jack was wired differently on this phone. They just sold me an expensive headset with mic that was wired for a regular cell phone and did not work with this phone. There were problems with the phone from the start. The phone would start sending text messages to contacts of random characters on its own and the only way to stop it was to take the battery out. The keyboard did not work properly. Just say you pressed the "A". The phone might type a "L" all on its own. You never knew what the hell it was going to do. The phone would reboot all on its own. Sometimes 6 or more times in a row. There were other problems as well. Such as slow responses, etc. I had it checked for viruses and nothing. I would set it back to factory settings and it would not cure the problem. I took it to the corporate store in Jacksonville, Florida and in Daytona Beach, Florida. They would set it back to factory settings and tell me there was nothing wrong with the phone. They did this all the way through the warranty period of the phone and then when the warranty period was up they said there was nothing they could do about it now because the warranty was up. So basically the company screwed me all the way around and refuses to do anything about it. I have not paid for December of 2012. I have no intentions of paying anything for January of 2013. And I am looking at going to another company such as Net10 instead because MetroPCS is a ripoff company that does not care about it's customers at all and refuses to make right on the problems with the phone they stole my money for. I now advise everybody to stay away from MetroPCS and why. I will continue to do that from now on. I have already convinced several people to go to a different company. I am posting this on several social media sites as well and asking all to share. They are not worth it and are well over priced for the services they provide.

  92. metro pcs was good to me until I had to go to another state to work and they screwed me by terminating my account but according the metro store I could go any in the USA and stay for as long as I need to work there with no problems but after I was there for a few months I get a text saying I am out of the metro service area and I need to dial 611 to fix the problem but when I call 611 all I got was non English speaking people that I could not understand was hung up on by 3 and the I ask to speak to a manager I got another non English speaking person who said her name was ANNE and she lied to me and said she was giving me a number that would get to someone I could understand and it was a fake number that was disconnected the only English speaking person I spoke to was in BILLING guess you have to have an English speaking person in the BILLING DEPT I will give metro credit when I get my money back on my card I guess if I do not get the money back they will hear from my lawyer and when I called corporate to try and talk to someone the transferred me back to the non English speaking people and I bet not one person from corporate reads the things what a joke this company is if you are smart you well stay away from Metro Piece of Shit phone company

You need to be careful purchasing a 4G phone from a reseller such as Ebay or Amazon etc. I have experienced two failures now, one with a missing 4G chip ( Metro will not replace) and another listed by Metro as "lost or stolen", a code Metro uses when a phone has gone inactive for a period of time. Both cases were for a LG Motion phone, barely used, original owner, and they, along with me, had a horrible time with Metro's customer service, both at the call center and at the corporate locations.
    I understand safety measures to guard stolen property, yet this harkens back to proprietary practices as in this example: company A wants to sell toilet paper but can't to the client because company B has their dispensers in place.
    I'm thinking after years with poor service with Metro PCS, and this recent development,it's time to wipe myself clean from their company.

  98. the local wareham metro pcs store has a man working there that is about as useful as a sack of rotted potatoes.. i had countless problems with my phone and they did nothing to help me even though as it was just pointed out to me the paper work says i had a year warranty. I had to send my phone to Samsung themselves to have it fixed, when ups lost it and samsung replaced it with a new indulge i went to the wareham store a gain!! BIG MISTAKE!! and got no NO NO NO HELP AT ALL!! because it came from samsung he would of had to actually do more than sit on his large ass and say i cant help you!! I went to the Plymouth store and got plenty of help and some goodies the Guy there Erick was so helpful in comparison to wareham it was amazing!! So only if you can deal with Erick and his boss Jeff in wareham do i recommend these people!!

  102. Had problem changing my billing date. Metro wanted me to default my payment, wait 7 days with no service, pay $5.00 AND THEN they could change my payment date. NOT!!! Googled president, ceo and cfo info and send them a very professional letter DEMANDING what I wanted. Got too phone calls. And call was very polite/professional and my request was granted. Just switched to another service and they THINK they are going to keep my full payment. Acct paid on the 1st, service terminated on the 2nd. They claim you must request refund with in 7 days. This info is nowhere on website. Sio here we go again. And when I finish this time, going to put them on blast on every social media site I can think of. GOOD RIDDANCE!!! (By the way-a professional letter to the one signing the paychecks is always successful.

There is alwsys something that is not working, finally they gave me another phone less than a month ago and 3 weeks later the airplaine is and and I have not service. They have all thse little Metro store and no one know nothing except take the money and tell u to go to a cooporate store and they are all about the same. This will be my last month with this phone, this month would be, but I just paid the bill.

I purchased a 4G phone on 3/2/13 and within 2wks the power shut off and would not turn back on took it to the metro pcs on florence and normandie and was not able to have another phone turned on and i am still waiting for my phone threw UPS. I think if its manufacture defect it should be automatically just turned in to receive a new phone with no HASSLE. Iwill be taking my business else where due to VERY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER.

Pembroke Pines FL "CORPORATE STORE" store manager should not have this position.He is rude and does not try to listen to the customers grief.I have worked retail for many years starting as a stock boy as a teenager right through regional positions.I am appauled that such a large company such as Metro PCS would even consider keeping an employee like this on there payroll.As one customer to the next I feel that we should not accept this type of behavior.I am willing to pull permits to launch a full scale picketing walk in front of the Pembroke Pines location.This may not fire the manager but it will make future customers aware of the service that they themselves will recieve which is none.

I've recently made two complaints with the BBB, after they give me an answer, seeing as MetroPCS is stubborn.. I suppose I'll be taking them to court.. Should go something like this; "After you pay for your initial phone(s) and services, please expect horrible, horrible, horrible, sub par customer service, spending countless hours trying to speak with someone, dealing with our staff that is for the most part uneducated and have little to no customer service experience, continually dealing with inept products and phones, (my Huawei phone is absolutely horrible), travel and get little no service, not be able to get voicemails and expect to get blown off by most of our staff". Sum that up pretty good?

There is a manager name HENRY is the worse/ I purchased a 4G phone, which in less than three months, stop working. I took it back and replacement phone they give keep shutting off on it's own. I called, and was told I take it to the store to have it exchange. Needless to say, that did not happen. I have been with the company for the past six years, I have three acccounts with them. The manger did not even check my account to see my history with them. This was my first complain and he refused to help. So I closed my accounts with them. They really need to spend some money to train their staff. Not everyone can manage, surely not HENRY from the Metro PCS on west Colonial drive.

  121. Welllll, life is too short to read all the messages of despair here.

    I have been trying and trying and trying and trying to get Metro to NOT text me with payment reminders or thank you for your payment texts. I am on an account of a friend, HE needs to be receiving these reminders as HE IS THE ACCOUNT HOLDER, NOT ME, NOT EVERY PHONE ON THE ACCOUNT.

    I am now being disconnected from every call once I get a representative on the phone. I have been working on this for weeks now. Highly frustrated!!!!

    I just rang the local office here in Riverside, Ca (funny, they have an Orange County phone nr., hmmmm). The young man on the other end said he will call a nr he has avail to him and will get a final answer for me whether this can be done or not and will get back to me. I told him the payment reminders have ceased, however, the Thank Yous have not. Also offered that I am waiting for the very pricy Samsung Galaxy S4 to arrive at their location so I can go hemhorage money for one, however, not until this issue is resolved.

    Signal Service is great, worlds better than the shit I had with Sprint, my current LG Motion is a very cool device for the money, great training tool for me to learn todays new technology.

    Wish me luck, I'll keep you all posted.

My Boss sent me to pick up a samsung admire after seeing a ad for &25.00 all in one price, she wanted to try it out and see if it would work for the guys in the trucks so they wouldnt have to use personal phones. I went in and the woman clerk sold me the phone,then told me it would not work with the 25.00 plan i would have to get the 50.00 plan ,i showed her the ad and she said it was expired. i paid the 50.00 . got back to the office was told the special was still running to take it back and cancel it,tried was told to come back when manager was here . On the third try gave up and started calling customer service . no help .WE HAVE BEEN WITH AT&T FOR 20 YEARS & WE WILL STAY WITH THEM AND ORDER NEW PHONES THERE.

  124. I am a very dissatisfied customer. On Saturday a representative from Metro PCS allowed someone to close my acct. They told me that a man called and said that he was my husband and requested to have the acct closed. According to the rep the man was convinced to keep the acct open and at that point they allowed my service to be transferred to another acct along with my credit that was on my acct. When I asked how this was possible the rep became very rude. So I was informed that I would have to go to head quarters and prove that I am who I say I am. This is really frustrating because I was without my phone the entire weekend and plus I have to drive out of my way to go to head quarters. This is unacceptable. When I asked Martin for the complaint number he completely ignored me so I requested a supervisor. The supervisor Mario was just as rude as the agent. I wouldn't recommend anyone to come to this company. A contract is better than having this type of service.

I was told the phone I was purchasing had "shatter proof glass" just a lie to get me to purchase since it was for my grand daughter whom I had with me . Of coarse after 3 days she drops it shatters the screen , ( oh btw to get me to buy he tells me the difference between the phone I originally looked at and the phone I purchased was that the original only had gorilla glass and the one I bought was shatter proof)I take it back in and as everyone here says sorry we can't help, did you buy ins.? ( wondering now does ins. even cover the screen getting shattered would be curious to know.) I told the boy working there I was misled and if it isn't "shatter proof" the term shouldn't be used . Anyway yet another unhappy customer. METRO you guys SUCK!!!!

  127. UGH! This is the worst company one would deal with! No contract, no service, no customer service and lots of aggravation! Do not deal with this company. My new LG Optimus died after two weeks. I have been given the run around by customer service agents, managers and supervisors. I have been without a phone for three days. After numerous phone call and trips to different Metro stores, I am still fighting for a new phone. Don't let them send your NEW phone back for repair - they will return a REFURBISHED one back to you. This could all have been avoided by just giving me what I paid for A NEW WORKING PHONE. But, company policy says they cannot do that. This not over yet - I am contacting my credit card company and will dispute these charges. Save yourself, go with a reputable company, not Metro PCS!

    After I went back several times for assistance, the salesman, I didn't get his name, he is a skinny guy with pants below his waist (not the other guy Jaime Salinas)was the rudest person ever. He even threatened me physically. When I asked him to step outside, he phoned security (COWARD!!).

  131. MetroPCS is a rip -off!!. I got the 4 for $100.00 because my son and daughter-in-law mostly works Texas-Louisiana. They had their phones for almost a year when MetroPCS cut one of them off. Said they wasn't allowed to bounce of towers in Louisiana. Yet when I bought the phones it was," oh sure that's no problem.". $ mos. later I found they was cutting the other one of so I went and changed the number to a local for my grand-daughter.. They said, no problem. 3 days later it was cut and they told me I couldn't get her phone back on. I had to pay for a separate line plus pay for new phone number.. I was told they would no longer ever carry the 4 for a hundred again. NOW, Guess what, they have them back. But because I am an old customer I can not get the 4 for $100.00. Two years ago, my phone was stolen. I was told by TWO employees that my insurance wasn't really worth the paper work. That it would cost me just as much to buy a new phone as it would to try to get the insurance to cover my phone....It is unfair how they do their customers. Although I have been with them 5 years. It is time to look else where for phone service it this is the way we are going to get treated!!!!

  133. Absolutely terrible service.bought one of the 4g phones but it could not receive texts also would not allow you to answer when touching the phone in the answer icon( usually green). i brought it back the next day and metopcs
    took the phone back after much hassle and runaround similar to everyone above me who complained. but they would not let me return the accessories so i paid cash for them.2 weeks later i found out that smart pay billfloat is debiting my account for the accessories.i was not given a reciept since he said he needed the reciept for the return..so i am unable to prove that i paid cash for the accessories and of course they have no record of the transaction for that day and denied ever recieving any cash for the items i bought. very unhelpful and rude.
    I say we all get together and file a class action suit, because we are all having the same problem. Bad phones and bad service.

  135. I wonder if they even take time to read these. We lost service in our area and customer service was no help. I told them my girlfriend and I use the phones for work. Someone in India or perhaps Sri Lanka told me that they couldn't help us but would escalate a ticket that would take 3 TO 5 BUSINESS DAYS!!!! I told them we just paid our bill a few days before and could they refund us so we can go get new phones with a different service and their answer was "we don't do that". The best part is at the end of the call the operator asked "is there anything else I can help you with?" WTF?? My phone has no service what the hell else would I need help with?? Some fat bastard is sitting out in Texas raking in money laughing at how stupid we all are for giving metro pcs a chance.

  136. First of all don't call FTC...you contact your State Public Service Commission. I got the dupe on the online billing too and the bank said they never tried to get their payment. How many people are paying that extra $3 because they don't know how to get their money from your bank....that's a lot of profit. I am recently getting these calls from a prisoner at Michigan Dept of Corrections although I was informed the number was out of TX...as is Metropcs....hmmmmm. Problem is all corporations whether its communications or cable or internet are overpriced and have poor service. Anyhow since I am talking to the State about those crank calls I think I will ask if inability to do online payments and charging that extra $3 is legal---for 100,000 people that is $300,000 they get for not being able to do their job.

  139. I am writing this letter because I am highly both disappointed and frustrated with your company. My phone was cut off in error due to a stolen EIN number for my cellular device. I had cracked my screen and went to an authorized Metro PCS store to get it repaired. The screen that they put onto my phone was reported stolen and while I was at home one evening my phone was disconnected. I immediately phoned into Metro PCS to inquire what the problem was and why this had occurred as I had a $230.00 credit on my account. I was told of what had occurred and that I could retrieve my phone number if I re-purchased an entire new phone. I did such at $499.00 for the Samsung Galaxy 3. I was charged but refunded the $50.00 activation fee to retrieve my canceled phone number of (313) 728-6267. However I have been getting the run around in regards to my $230.00 phone bill payment credit that I had on my account. I was told that the money was refunded in the form of a check and sent to an address that was not of my own. I then gave the representative the debit card number used to make the payments and was told that the $230.00 would be refunded to my account and I have yet to receive it. I had faxed in all of the documents requested and am so frustrated that it makes me cry. I have never been treated like this as a loyal customer. I am pregnant and this entire situation is very frustrating to me. Every time I call into the 1-888-8METRO8 number I am antagonized as to why I have not received my money yet and every time I ask to speak to a supervisor I am hung up on. When I phone back into the 1-888-8metro8 number I am told that I cannot speak to the person I was speaking to.

    I was an AT&T customer prior to your company for 8 years and never had not a single issue with them, with the way that this situation has been handled by your company I regret changing to your service provider.

  140. The phone service itself is good as long as they are collecting money and don't have to do anything. Once you have a problem thie nice and good have all gone out the window. I would stay clear any way possible. Customer service???? there is no service, at least not good service. Expect hangup and long long long hours on hold, just to be hung up on a gain most likely. You might be lucky to get the one in a million service person, but that is very unlikely. Extremely disappointed.

I live in the United States why would you have commercials for us to view when it is all in Spanish and I do not understand as well as others I think you need to send those commercials to Mexico where they will appreciate them more since it is their language if your phones are just in Spanish they are of no use to me the commercial was on Spike HD channel 241 at zip code 92335 at 2;36 Calif time I'll stay with Verizon where they speak all languages as needed... better yet go to another country after reading all the complaints your really batting a hundred as the worst

  142. Since I've been buying cell phones, I found out that Metro Pcs is the worst cell phone company. My phone does what it wants to do, It shuts off when it wants, come back on when it feels like, Charge when it wants. I'll be reading an article and it just shuts off just like that. These damn refurbish phones that Metro Pcs is selling people.

  143. ive been with metro pcs for over 4 years and bought many phones and never been late. well april 1st I purchased the Samsung galaxy exhibit for my sun and before the myself a galaxy s4, well there was a promotion for the exhibit with a $20 dollar rebate, even had by brother join metro and he also bought the exhibit. well. they make it almost impossible to find the rebate form hidden under deal in the small print at the very bottom of there metro pcs official site. I didn't even know that till I had to finally call just for them to tell me sorry .your rebate expired. it was 1 day past there date. well neither the store had signs about the rebate or the receipt. so I ask him how can he help me its not right. it should be honored by the date of purchase on the receipt. nope. I got no where. also bought a zte phone $250.00 and year warranty. well that's not working so I call and they don't honor that either unlkess that phone is activated., why is that. whats the factory rebate have to do with the money I spent and the phone not in working condition. that's why I bought the galaxy s4 so I wouldnt be without a phone. so now im out 1 zte hdmi 4 g phone which by the way they would not activate with a 4 g network and sold me a 4 g phone. and im also out $20 dollars because they wont honor the rebate.. buyer beware. I used to get them so much business. told all family and friends to go with them. after all this. ill recommend no one go there. one unhappy metro pcs customer Kenneth lafleur Chicopee massachusetts

  144. 4G NATIONWIDE COVERAGE MY ASS!!!!!!!! LIVE IN CERES ca and have the worst service in the world...talked to METHDO PIECE OF DALLAS SHIT and the dumb ass said it was the simcards and that we needed to remove the battery HELLO MACFLY have an Alcatel one touch and the battery's are NONREMOVEABLE!!!!! I called the next day spoke to a supervised and was told it wasn't the sim cards as far as the signal goes I ask her what are they going to do about the signal issue and she can't give me a straight answer....she talks to her supervised and I was told that because of all the problems me and my wife have been having they are going to give me a 90 dollar credit to where our bill is 20 ha ha..some rip off!!! Wondering who's fucking who on that deal...metro fucking sucks!!!!

BUT THEN... my husband whom I convinced to go with Metro over in the SLO area...Needing Internet availability with HOTSPOT accessibility...Buys on the 3rd of February a ALCATEL ONE TOUCH FIERCE PHONEw/ 50.00 UNLTD + 5.00 for HOTSPOT DELIBERATELY CHECKING AND QUESTIONING REPEATEDLY THE 4G AVAILABILITY FOR OUR AREA!! OF COARSE...WE(CUSTOMERS) ALL KNOW WHAT THAT ANSWER IS?! yes yes!!!!!! FROM THE MOMENT WE RETURNED HOME THIS PHONE HAS ONLY SHOWN IN THE NOTIFICATION FOR INTERNET AREA... Barely 1-2bars of service and that has been intermittant at best....BUT the real clincher here is: The Notice above the bars reads 2G!!!!! So w/o going into what you all on this forum have experienced also from their CUE CARD CUSTOMER REPS...NOTHING !!!! Part 2 (of coarse never getting same repr, so have to GO thru it all over again!) and this is the REAL BOMB: MetroPcs GIVING US CREDIT SINCE WE GOT THIS PHONE(for this is service failure: the phone is nothing more thaen a game player: and thats only if we go into town...or wifi at additional cost from neighbors connection) Finally last month...speaking with a repr from ARIZ WHOM FOR ALL PURPOSES i TRULY BELIEVED WAS NOT ONLY SYPATHETIC BUT...HE i THINK WAS UNDER A FALSE/DELUSIONAL BELIEF THAT HIS SENDING ALERTS ALONG WITH ANOTHER SERVICE ORDER:(ALSO, HE WAS THE ONLY REPR. FOR WHOM THE LIGHTS WENT ON TO THE FACT metros service tower; which is only less then a half mile from my residense, is operating UNDER 2G!!!!!!, THEREFORE, THERE IS NO WAY IN SAM HELL...YOU CAN GET 4G(OR 3G FOR THAT MATTER) OUT OF A 2G TOWER!!!!! i WAS EXTREMELY COMPLACENT WITH MY OFFERING JUSTIFICATIONS! you know': tHE 'It Happens,' There wld be no way for you cue card repr. to know that tower was inadequate', right down to please let me speak with a spervisor, managment, ets: In response....85% of the time my calls were met with deliberate call drops, right down to CSR out and out rudeness then hanging up on either my husband or myself.
