  3. I recently made a purchase of a 32" flat screen tv, also a wall mount to hang the tv. I changed my mind about hanging the tv. When i tried to return the mount, which by the way is still in walmart original packaging, I was told I needed a printed out piece of paper in order to return it. I advised 2 separate managers that I make purchases online with my phone and I do not own a printer. They advised me that was not there problem and without a printed out piece of paper there was nothing they could do for me. I advised them that when I picked the tv and the mount up from the store I didn't have to show a piece of printed out paper in order to pick it up. They advised me once again that there is nothing they could do for me letting me know that walmart and walmart.com are 2 separate companies. This leads me to believe that a customer will lose out on any purchase made on walmat.com if any paperwork is lost in this process. This is unacceptable to me and I will make it my personal business to advise as many people through as many avenues as I possibly can about the way people are treated when trying to return a product under walmarts so called easy return policy! I have now cancelled my credit cards through walmart and personally refuse to make any more purchases through walmart or walmart.com! I consider myself to be a good customer and always make payments in a timely manner and if walmart and walmart.com are willing to treat me this way imagine how any other customer will be treated. All this occurred in a walmart store o. A Sunday and please keep in mind that I spoke with 2 separate managers one being a female and the other a male. I also spoke with a walmart.com customer service representative who also was unable to help. None of the three individuals even seemed like they cared to lose a customer or five as I do have a family. My suggestion to any other families is to stay away and support your local businesses, because as we all know times are hard these days without having to worry about getting burned by corporate giants. I will be posting this exact email word for word on as many review sites as I possibly can in order to help any other individuals or families make the same mistake I did!!!

  4. The Wal-Mart that I go to has no care for their customers. They have 28 registers but only 2 to 3 open at a time. The managers are just ad bad at trying to serve the customer acting like you are a burden to them or are lieing.

    1. So If you went back the next day to ask for your job back why did you even quit in the 1st place? That seems really stupid, that's probably why you don't have your job back, and you obviously are oblivious to your stupid action in quitting in the 1st place, but you blame not yourself you blame the company. Then your just an idiot and you don't deserve your job back, and i don't even like walmart and I'll tell you that to your face,Idiot.

    2. I wouldn't have hired you in the first place since you can not spell and if all you are paying for is a car and phone bill; you are obviously a high school student who needs to have a life lesson like quiting your job.

I find it amazing that Wal-Mart has such little reguard for people that is trying to help with the clean up in Alabama. If the bosses of the clean up crews can not print the checks on a computer Wal-Mart can not cash them. Maybe if a EF tornado hits in Bentonville there will be
no help because the people that work there will not be able to eat same as in Alabama

  7. over the Memorial Day weekend the store in Thomaston Ga. asked to local VFW to STOP selling poppies. When I called to complain the Mrg. told me there had been a complaint and that THEY (WalMart) had to be politically correct. I told him the vets sell poppies on Memorial day weekend and Veterans day and asked if he didnt feel a little bit might be owed to those who made the ultimate sacrifice so that he could even have a store to manage. He quickly told me that he "Didnt answer to me and that I did not run his bussiness" Since that time I have called and complained and still HAVE NOT RECEIVED any contact from upper management. On the other hand the Manager in question has recieved COUNTLESS calls and complaints from not only around this country but around the world!!!! I am a supporter of the American Military and Wal-Mart customer and I EXPECT something to be done!

  8. Since Sam died Walmart don't give a crap. Its all about the ole mighty dollar to them. They wiped out all the mom and Pop stores and other stores that they could. Now they are in control and don't care about what anyone thinks.Being a employee sucks they treat you like a dog, being a customer sucks they only want your money. Some store managers are mental cases. Management has no clue how to run the stores. Walmart just don't care.

    1. Totally true. From an employee and customer's persepctive the managers don't care about anything. I didn't meet the manager of my department until my 90 day evaluation and have yet to meet any of the upper mangagers. The managers are often rude to customers and even worse to their employees.

    2. I agree, at the walmart store in Espanola, NM one of the receiving people who work on the 4:00 to 11:00 shift goes around asking customers if they now where to get illegal pills.....thought walmart required drug testing????? and how crude is that, getting paid by walmart and asking customers to sell him pills.....that for sure tells you walmart doesn't care about anything but money.......

    3. I love all of these people who are complaining about Walmart do not even have proper grammar skills. "Walmart just don't care" ??? Really?! Go back to fourth grade and learn how to speak.

    4. To the one bout talkin' bout grammar skills.... I speak like that. I graduated with high honors AND went to college. This has nothing to do bout grammar skills. This is bout people skills and common sense. Evidently something that U JUST DON'T GOT!!!

      Delete
    5. Regardless of grammer skills or education level EVERYONE deserves the same respect from these idiots that run wal-mart. You see, wal mart is about money and their employees believe that a title, such as dept manager, gives them the power or right to treat others any way they choose. The bottom line is Wal mart has completely crushed the little man and, unfortunately, continues to kick them while they are down.
With that being said, here is my complaint. I was sitting at home around 11 pm last night (Friday night) and was craving something sweet. I decided that some Ben and Jerrys ice cream was what I wanted. So I drove 20 minutes to wal mart for some ice cream. When I walked into the store I found BOTH ice cream isles were blocked off. I asked the guy if I could get the ice cream and he told me no because he was going to wax the floor. (Keep in mind the floor was dry as a bone with no wax or cleaner on it at this time)I explained that I had just driven in 20 minutes into town specifically for this ice cream, his response "Sorry dude, don't know what to tell you." The guy was standing right next to the ice cream I was wanting and wouldn't even hand me a container. Now the question I have is, WHY would you wax the floors on the busiest night of the week??? And when was good customer service with a smiling face replaced with rude, lazy individuals that look like they have either smoked a crack rock, a blunt, or camp out in the snicker doodle isle and eat all night long?

  10. I live in Texas where it is massively hot and humid. Its pretty bad when walmart has the temp inside the store to match the outside temp. Cant even take my time shopping. No good complaining, and the corporate office doesnt have an email address available to the public. Probably because of the complains. They dont listen anyway. Doesnt do any good talking to the mgr of the store about things. he says it all goes through corporate which is in arkansas. Just like a dog chasing its tail..doesnt go anywhere but round and round. Im gonna start shopping at super HEB. A few miles furture but better deals and a cooler store.

If you don't like what you are reading then don't come here and read it this page is for people who can't get any help so they are here to try and get Corporate to take notice of problems with their company ... I PERSONALLY DON'T SHOP AT WALMART AND HAVE ONLY SHOPPED 1 TIME WITH THEM ON LINE ONLY TO GET MY MONEY TAKEN AND MY ORDER CANCELLED AND HERE IS IT 6 WEEKS LATER AND I STILL HAVE NO REFUND .. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN .. SO HUNTER NO OFFENSE BUT YOU NEED TO GET A LIFE AND FIND SOMETHING MORE CONSTRUCTIVE TO DO WITH YOUR TIME THAN TO COME HERE TO COMMENT ON PEOPLE WHO ARE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THIS COMPANY..

I asked to speak to the store manager and got 'Jason' who wouldn't give me a last name. Sure, he said, "I've got 10 GE 6300 BTU air conditioners just came off the truck last night".
Ten minutes later i was in the store . No GE air conditioners - an associate spoke with Jason whio said he was to busy to talk to any customers.
    The associate just laughed.

  15. I recently called to complain about the consistantly high temp of our store. Yes it is in a low socio-economic area. We have lived here for many many years and our money is as good as anyone elses money, but apparantely not when it comes to comfort or treatment.
No one from your corporate office returned my call. I am going to get a temp gauge and find out what the temp is in near by more affluant areas. Then I am going to point out to everyone I can the difference in temps and prove my point. We currently have a super target in the process of being built. Perhaps THEN they will lift their game.

  16. You know it is bad enough to see pants hanging below the ass on the streets everyday, but you would think that Walmart has a dress code to prevent the employees from wearing their pants like that while on the floor working. And to Hunter, it's not that we don't like Walmart but when you get treated like crap you have to complain to try and get change. So glad your world is so perfect that you don't have to complain.

  18. I am appalled, discouraged, and disgusted with Wal-Mart! The scene that I witnessed tonight at the Wal-Mart Supercenter# 949-Dallas located at 3155 W Wheatland Rd Dallas, TX 75237 has pushed me to the point of no return.

At approximately 9:50pm I finished shopping for some household items and proceeded to the check out lanes. When I arrived at this stop, I found lines of people who appeared to be confused and disgruntled by the chaos that was steadily growing each time a new shopper stepped up to complete the shopping experience. After making a quick assessment of the situation, I realized there were only two check-out lanes open. I assumed there had to be some reasonable explanation for why this was the situation since there were at least sixty people in line, running in two different directions. THIS IS NOT AN EXAGGERATION! YES, that’s correct about 30 going in one direction of one entrance and 30 going in the other direction of the main entrance. I left my daughter in line while I went to the customer service department to inquire about the presence of a manager. I spoke with a black woman who told me she was the Customer Service Manager. I asked her if she was aware of the circumstances and she confirmed that was. She also told me that nothing could be done since ONE person didn’t show up for their cashier shift. I then asked why SHE couldn’t run a lane and she simply said “I can’t do that”. WHAT KIND OF RETAIL STORE ARE YOU PEOPLE OPPERATING?!

Wal-Mart doesn’t have ALL the lowest prices anymore and most of the time won’t even honor their commitment of matching competitors pricing. The convenience grows weaker each time I visit this particular location, the quality of people that are running the store are less than professional, and finding a cart to do my shopping has become a guessing game –not to mention the quality of the carts that are available (half the time I go through 2 or 3 just to find one that wont embarrass me with strange noises while I shop). And while I’m venting my frustrations, I’d like to mention the muddled messes the carts leave all over the parking lot –that alone discourages me from even getting inside because I find it necessary to park far enough away so I can avoid the possibility of having damage done to the exterior of my vehicle.

I’m done! I’m closing my credit account, I will gladly pay higher prices to avoid the chaos, confusion, and inconvenience of Wal-Mart, and lastly, I’ll happily support Kroger, Aldi, and any other store that provides TOP NOTCH customer service.

“AWFUL” IS THE LEAST I CAN SAY…

  19. I have so much to say. That it isn't worth saying anymore. I refuse to waste my time, energy, and breath on the trash walmart has been hiring in their stores lately.

All they care about is your money. And people are stupid enough to overlook, and act like wussies and not complain.

If sam walton knew what was going on today, he would turn over in his grave bigtime.

The customer service, convience, and prices suck bigtime. They don't honor competitor prices.
Also, do you know that when you spend money in walmart where that money is going to? You think you know. I have secrets that I know about walmart via some inside media tips that would open a can of worms that would send you reeling worse than the people got mad at casey anthony trial.

It is just a matter of time before american fools realize and stop shopping and they will have to close and file bankruptcy.

I have literally ceased as much shopping there anymore. Now I mostly do my shopping at costco.
I do better in everything. And for a few pennies more, I get better everything.

It is just amatter of time. before one of those low trash niggers, or mexican cocoroaches runs into the wrong person and it will be on. I am not about all that drama.

What do you expect at 5 dollars and hour.

I am so tired of shopping in the Ashland VA store and seeing the young employees walking around in jeans and hanging down their butts and the "gangs" of employees who walk around doing nothing and when u try to ask a question they say its not their department. It seems to always be the same employees and their name tags r usually turned around backwards so I cant get their names- This most recent incident occured on Friday July 29.2011 and then u go to the register to check out and there are not enough open- so why do they have these employee "thugs" walking around doing nothing. And yes one employee in particular is a young skinny black guy that show his whole" arse" in jeans and ugly boxer shorts - Someone needs to get a handle on these employees - I thought there was a dress code.

I did work for Wal-Mart in Colton, CA. I had worked there for 5.5 years and was fired 2-22-2011, because I couldn't do my job dues any more after being there at the same store for 5.5 years.
The promblem started when I came back after a LAO, which the Dr. took me off due for 3 weeks.
When I returned, I had my eval done there was no problem with my job performance and never I had any kind of disciplinarry action at all. Then in 6 months I was out the door and all they could say is that I could not do my job dues.
Wal-Mart wants one associate do do anywhere between 3 plus dapartments every night and plus be at front check out and you would only have maybe a hour to get 3 plus departments done.
I was a very good associate never been late to work in 5.5 years and the only time I missed work was due to my Dr. oders, because I was getting so stressed out, because of all that the company wanted their associate to do. LET ME TELL YOU!!!!!! IT WAS NO FUN TO BE A CLOSER AT THAT STORE AT ALL!!!!!!! MY MOTTO WAS CUSTOMER ALWAYS CAME FIRST, BECAUSE IF IT WASN'T FOR THE CUSTOMERS. THERE WOULD NOT BE WAL-MART AT ALL AND ALL THE UP MAGAGEMENT WOULDN'T HAVE THEIR JOBS!!!!!!!!!

    1. I aslo worked for Wal-mart, for over 15 years. I was upper management and do believe that it has changed from when i first started. I worked in 8 different stores but when i hit the last store i worked in i believed i was in hell. I agree with you on the upper management. i feel they are unable to do their jobs because they have someone over them more or less being Hitler. I have been with great management teams that work together as a team not having one person dictate how to do their jobs. The sad part that one person running his team on intimidation was in retail for only 4 years and his management team all had been with Walmart 8 years or more. I feel people were walking on glass not knowing day to day if they had a job or not. It is really a problem with that kind of leadership(if you can call it that) to threaten, yell, swear, and pretty much disrespect your associates. I am glad i no longer work for this store manager, i just think he felt threat because i would stand up for myself and my associates. A 15 year career taken away from me because someone didnt like me. You put your heart and soul into your job and ensure that you are doing it right just to have it pushed back into your face that you are nothing but a bad associate. well i am hoping that the walmart corporation takes a look at the big picture and supports and listens to their hourly assoiates and not let their upper management bully, threat, or yell at them. They are the reason the stores are making money it not just because of the upper management.

  22. 5 Reasons Why I Don’t Shop At Walmart:
    1. Does not offer layaway.
    2. Does not offer a Frequent Shopper’s card with points incentive with any purchase
    3. Does not double coupons.
    4. Does not offer money back to use on my next purchase.
    5. Not enough customer service on the floor. When I have encountered department employees, they have been very cold and unhappy. No greeting other than the door. No, “Can I help you find anything?” Nothing!!!!!!!

Strategies That Would Get Me Through The Door:
    1. Offering a layaway program. Just like Sears and Kmart
    2. Offering a shoppers card that would build points to use on a purchase or save up to $1 off of a gas purchase. Just like Kroger and the points program at Sears and Kmart.
    3. Offer at least once a month double coupons. Just like Kroger
    4. Would offer money back to use on my next purchase, when I purchase select items. Just like the offers at Walgreen’s, CVS, and Rite Aid.
    5. Customer service increased and each department staffed with warm, friendly, and smiling faces. In my opinion, it says a lot about a company, if the employees are not happy and willing to do their job. If a company only cares about the money and not its employees or shoppers, it’s not worth shopping.

YOU MAY SAVE US TIME, BUT YOU DON’T SAVE US MONEY!!!
With the way the economy is, I need to save money not time. I hope your corporate takes this to heart, because people like me are tired of paying way too much on items that we need. If the Walmart Corporation itself really cared about its communities, it would offer both money and time saver programs.
Bottom line: I shop Kmart, Kroger, Walgreen’s, CVS, Rite Aid, and Sears all because of the rewards and their customer services. Your company may still be in business, but it’s because time savers who don’t plan their shopping or budget and due to the stores I have named are not in the area. Your only benefits are a one stop shop and price matching. (By the way, you have to make a federal case sometimes to get the employees match a price from another store. I should not feel like I am being accused of scamming the cashier).
Customer Services are poor in every store I have been too. Not just my area. I am lobbying people to stop shopping Walmart until they can be more consumer friendly.

  24. For the past year and a half I have had repeated problems at the Walmart Store in Mebane, NC. I just got off the phone with the Corporate Office in Bentonville trying to have someone look into this matter however, I am not holding my breath! Items are ALWAYS out of stock, management and employees are totally slack and uncaring when it comes to providing customer service in this store. My recent experience is that the pharmacy in this Walmart is out of a medication I take and have been for the past year. I called Friday, 8/12/11 to preorder a refill. I was told that my order would be ready Sat., 8/13 after 11:00am. Around 5:30pm 8/13/11 I received a call from the Walmart Pharmacy in Mebane, NC telling me my meds. were out of stock and they would not have any in until Tues., 8/16/11. They did ask if I had enough to hold me over which I did. The more I thought about this and how this could potentially put someone in real danger of being without meds. they need, I physically went to the Walmart Pharmacy to speak with the Pharmacist. It was the principal of the matter. I was told at that time the pharmacy did have some of my prescription on hand. Surprise, surprise. I was also told how they don't ever want someone to have to go without their meds. and such and would do everything to accommodate. My mother recently also went without 2 days of meds. she needed due to the Walamrt Pharmacy in Mebane, NC being out. I was again told Tuesday I should be able to get my entire prescription. Well, here it is Tuesday and they still don't have my meds.!!!!! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS and will not be tolerated my me anymore. I have since transferred my prescriptions and will not move them back to Walmart. Now, let's see if Corporate does anything to show they actually care for their customers as they say they do!

I have never worked there but many of my friends, parishioners at church, and patients that I see have, and the same story seems to always apply. They are unfair and try to get rid of their older employees while they can hire 2 more in their place. We even had a walmart manager get stabbed and almost killed in the store by a disgruntled employee and they fired the manager shortly after he came back from recuperating! I was trying to find a product in my local Wal mart store on Baseline Rd in Little Rock, AR. When calling the store to see if it's in stock i didn't get nothing but a run-around and phone tag. Called about 8 times and finally had to call the Pharmacy to try and get some help. Told them to connect me with a manager but you know how that turned out, no success. It's like a big secret that there all afraid to let you speak to managemant to keep them from getting in trouble. Anyway, i called Corporate to try and get some answers as to why you get hung up on and get the run-around. We'll see how that goes. It's the same thing when shopping and checking out there also. I can get groceries in 30 min., but when you go to check out the lanes are backed completly up, what lanes are open, and it takes about an hour to check out. By that time everything in your basket has melted. Funny thing though, you can go down the road to the Bryant or Benton store and be checked out in no time and it's a hell of a lot cleaner. Wish Sam Walton was still alive and this kind of shit wouldn't fly.

  32. Dear Sir,

I am long time customer of Walmart and have always appreciated how Walmart has helped my family by keeping their prices affordable to us all these years.

I recently ventured out and ordered using the Bill Me Later plan. I order a television and was amazed at the quality and how quickly I received my item.

I paid for the television as soon as I received the bill. I then decided I would order Texas Instruments TI-84 for my daughter. When it came in, we discovered that we needed another model.

I called Walmart.com, they told me how to return the merchandise. I mailed the item back, and received an email on August 16, 2011 stating that they received the item and my account would be

    credited.

. I then waited a week and call to check on the status of my account, only to find that I still had an outstanding balance. I was told to wait 3 to 5 more days and I would

receive a credit. I waited another week and called and still no results. I have called four times in total and when I received a bill from Bill Me Later stating that not only do I still have an outstanding

balance, but a late charge has been added.

This has really caused me to question the integrity of Walmart.Com . I can't seem to phantom why it would take a company over a month to issue a credit for an item that they clearly know they have

received. (I have the Return Confirmation number) Has Walmart been reduced to scamming the American public now? Forgive me for being so course, but enough is

enough. I did all that was required of me, can Walmart.Com not do the same.

Please have someone notify me with a resolution, I am seriously considering my options at this time. Thank you,

    Mrs.

  33. I went to get a new tire put on at the WalMart in Martin Tennessee like I have for years when I need a new tire, and the guy tells me he can't replace the tire because they are all a size smaller than they should be. I told him, they're the ones who put the wrong size tire on there, I have all my tire receipts (you never know when something dumb is going to happen) and he tells me I'll have to replace all four tires or they won't touch it. Hello!! It's your fault the right size tires aren't on there in the first place! I'm not the mechanic here! Tires are a pretty inmportant thing! I'm going to have to question their service now, and my doing business there.

  34. Its amazing to see the same stories and walmart still does nothing employees are afraid to speak up these grassroots surveys they have are a joke people cant say what they feel they expect the associates to work a 16 hr job in 8 and do it well with very limited help then the customers get mad because no one is there to help the associates are stressed to the point that they dont have a good attitude toward the customer yes you are going to have slackers in any job but weed them out and take care of those the managers degrade yell and talk to their employees like they are idiots when in fact they have no idea how to run any specific dept if you would put them there they wouldnt have a clue i wish they would make them(the co's and the store manager) work in each dept as a worker for 1 week then maybe they would have some sort of knowledge of what goes on associates should not be afraid of their store manager they should be able to respect him and you seem to forget that every employee spends their hard earned money right there and for each associate how many family members and friends do they have one day people will have had enough and i know you are thinking who cares we will still have people that will shop at walmart but you should be thinking on how you could improve moral and maybe you would have it even better and to the co managers and the store manager at plant city florida 0547 you need to wake up you are not better than any one of us alisha and lissa you talk about people make fun of people and bark out orders when you have no idea what you are doing and rob you have screamed at people made people cry what the hell is that all i can do is shake my head and hope one day walmart falls because you all think you are untouchable a corporate giant well you know the old saying what goes up must come down and it takes a real ceo to keep it up i wish things could change

  36. I wish someone would come in from corporate to the madison/mayodan, nc store. Most of their items on the shelves are not with the right prices. I constantly had to look to match the item with the price. Also, if I decide to try something on in the fitting room. I'm standing there waiting for someone to return to the fitting room. Everytime no one has showed up and I'm spending my shopping time tracking down an employee. I feel like I'm the manager instead of the shopper. Most of your employees are very polite and nice, especially the door greeters, but where is the professional managment of this store. I love walmart, but I haven't shopped there in a few weeks.

  37. Dear CEO,
I work for Wal-Mart 970 in Picayune Ms. I've worked here for years. But the past few years it has gone down hill. I always heard that when store managers change stores or move up in management that they went to different stores. I really wish that was the case here. Our store Manager is a nice guy some times. But most of the time he has his moments. And he became our store manager while in a click. As we that work here call it. One is named Brinda Smith. She walks around all day barking orders, pointing her finger and doing as she wishes cause she knows she has no worries. She is on her phone most of the time she is there and always breathing down the good workers backs. And like the store manager she has her little click. Everyone there feels like they must walk on eggshells because of them. I loved working there when Mr. Steve was in charge. But now, it has all changed. The hard workers are being pushed around and the ones that don't work are getting the easy street. We are told we can't all go to lunch together that customers are number one and that we are to help each other. But when it is just a hand full of us doing this, it is hard to do it all. You got your groups that all have to go to lunch when they want all together, no matter who it hurts or puts in a tight spot. You got your lazy group that you end up pulling their slack so customers are all helped. And you got the ones that are mean to the customers, tell them things and treat them with no respect. I hate the way things have turned. I am happy that Mr. Justin got moved up. But he should of been moved to a different store. When you are a manager, you don't pick favors. You treat everyone with the same respect. If not for the employees and customers, Wal-Mart stores would be out of service. I am already looking for another Job. I love my co workers, I love my job, but unless something can be done about Brenda Smith and her click. As well as our store manager letting her get away with everything, then I will not be the only one leaving. I was in the back in GM receiving last Sat. I walked out the back doors because we was moving fright around and putting it in trailers when I seen one of our associates out there working her butt off putting boxes in a trailer while Brenda Smith and Jessie Kahl sitting on their butts smoking and playing with their phones. Then later on they was out in the smoking area about a hour later on a brake again smoking. I know they take up to 4 brakes sometimes. I also seen Brenda Smith talking down to another associate one day at work. She is always putting down on associates and talking bad about them to other associates. She thinks she owns the store because Mr. Justin will not say anything to her. Please I beg you, do something about this. There is to many associates that are talking about leaving this store that work their butts off to keep it going. She is one of the main reasons many associates want to leave. One day she was over by the paint counter and one of the associates there was needing something. And because they was interrupting her little talk with her other friends that work there she snapped at them. I am a dept. Manager now, and it was hard to get where I am. And even though she has been there longer then I have still don't give her any right to talk down to people like they are dirt under her feet. She has even over ruled Asst. Managers that are over her because they wanted something done one way and she didn't want it that way, so she ran to Justin and he over ruled the Asst. Manager. You really need to take a close look at this store. You are paying people to sit around and get paid for nothing. If you want to make cuts and save money. Start with getting the ones that are riding on walmart time. And please think about moving managers around. Give us back Mr. Steve or a different Manager. I don't want to see Mr. Justin moved down, just moved to a different store so the click will be broke up. As well a Brenda Smith. Thank you for your time. The Silent voices of Wal-Mart 970

  39. I have made multiple extra trips over the last 2 1/2 months in order to purchase Millstone coffee beans, that are priced per pound. I have complained to the store mananger in Seneca, Pa several times, and have not had success in the product being refilled. I was told tonight, when I complained again that the grinder is broken, therefore, until the new grinder is received, they will not be stocking Millstone coffee beans. I would have ordered coffee online sooner, and not have made so many extra trips, had I known sooner. Gas is too expensive right now to drive 20 minutes for a product that has been out of stock for 2 1/2 months. Regardless, what a pitiful , lazy reason to not have the coffee. Most people that pay the extra money for good coffee have their own grinder so, the fact that they will not stock it for those that will and want to purchase whole coffee beans, and the flavors offered by Millstone, is frustrating and very poor customer service. I know many people have complained. I am considering taking my $1000.00/month grocery money elsewhere. Thank you so much for reading this.

  41. I normally shop at Wal-Mart’s on 256 and the one in Canal Winchester, but today I was at your store at 3657 E. Main , Whitehall, Oh. Now I know why it is known as the “Ghetto Wal-Mart”. Today, one of your employees call a customer a “Bitch”, not once but twice. I’m not sure exactly what happened but I would expect more of your employees than to call your customers “Bitches”. Never again will I go to that Wal-Mart. The reputation that that particular Wal-Mart has in the community seems to be well deserved. The comments I have heard in the past about that particular Wal-Mart, I guess are true. So sad.

  49. OK, Think about this.... A Walmart employee in a local area here (Port St Lucie) was made to work more than 7 hours with out a break on register. (By the way that's 1pm to 7:30pm) She relentless told them and told managers she needed a break with no success. Finally when they gave her one they told her the reason was they forgot. She should go take her brake now, take a additional 15min for the brake she missed the first time, and then go back to work she will be fine. And this isn't the first time this has happen to her either. This coming from a store that swears up and down that they love their employees and will take care of them. Oh by the way this isn't just here say. I didn't here this on the news or from a friend on Facebook. I know this from fact. Why or how you may ask. My own mother works for Walmart. She just called me up and told me what happened to her this afternoon. Yet another reason I HATE WALMART! and you should too! All they care about is themselves and money. They don't care about their employees. They just care about themselves. I just feel sorry for the employees who work there. Being without a job these past years people have asked me " Why don't you work for Walmart they'll hire anyone?" I simply reply ' My mother works there and she hates it. Why would I want to work there for?"

Yet another reason to DISLIKE WALMART:

At a local store where my Mother works they are actually making all their employees work on Thanksgiving! Even though she asked for it off a full 3 months ahead of time. That is so WRONG!!! Thumbs Down to the Worst company in the world. These poor people who you call employees who you obviously care nothing about should be with their families not working at your stupid store. Families come first not money! So, I feel so sorry for all of you Walmart employees who have to work on Thanksgiving or any holiday for that matter where you should be with your family.OK, Think about this.... 51. I worked for Wal-Mart for almost six years ands did the best job that I knew how and was let go for attendance reasons that were caused by someone else inside of the store.Let me explain,I bought a bike from the store and then it was stolen from the store about a year later and I never was able to find out who stole it althoufgh I have my suspects in mind. This caused e to have to wlk to work every night and to be late many times and the managers all knew what was going on yet did nothing to help me at all. They only piled on too much work for me to complete in one night and then asked me to speed up which I always did to the best of my ability but this was not good enough for them and they terminated my employment last year just before my B-day.This is not only unacceptable to me it is so wrong on so many levels that I just do not know what to do.I am very confused because I was always taught that if you did the job to the best of your ability then you would always be OK but it seems that this is not good enough and it also seems that in store politics play a very big part in this corporation otherwise why run a very good employee out of work in the hardest of times and leave him to fend for himself.I have all the experience and know how to do my job and yet I was let go for something that was completely out of my control.I hope that someone reads this from the home office and trys to rectify the situation soon because I am running out of options for employment here now and will need at least a better recomendation from the company or my old job back which I would still do to the best of my ability.Hope someone of importance reads this and realizes that something very wrong has transpired here in Boise Idaho. My home store was the Garden City Wal-Mart and will need to back to work at this location if I can

  54. Okay, I have worked for four different Walmart locations 3 in Colorado and 1 in New York. I loved my job and my position. I even wanted to advance with the company. I was given permission to leave due to frustrations with DISREPECT by upper managment (New York location) in Feb, 2011. I however loved the treatment inthe other stores (we were a family). My point being not all walmart locations disrespect their customers or associates. I dobelieve that the associates and customers need to be heard when it comes to mistreatment and that the management of each store needs to be professional in every aspect of the word. I have tried to get a position in another store since but the store that terminated me after I was given permission to leave is giving a bad refernce. The associates I supervised and others I did not loved me and still ask about me till this very day, They miss me and say that they wish I was still there for them because they are not treated well. Mind you I did win my unemployment benefits because they lied and said I quit but couldn't prove it because I did not quit. I still wish to work for walmart because they are a great company to work for, I just want to get into a different location and be there for the customers so that they have a great experience from the time they enter the store and exit the store. I have been trying to contact the CEO since no one else seems to care that what happened to me was wrong and that I was disrespected terribly for by managment as is all of their associates in tha tstore for years. I thought that Walmart was all about respect for the individual and that when someone complained that they were being dosrepected they took action on them not the person being disrespected. Can someone help me find a way to contact hte CEO or someone who can actually make this wrong right, I mean I have a family to feed just like everyone else and did not deserve to loose a job I worked so hard at and for a company I love and thought cared.

  55. Walmart in middlesboro Ky, does not care for there employees they take and threating to fire you if you are sick and if you call in and you are sick they threaten to fire you...They give more attention to certain employees who are there favorites instead of giving each employee the same treatement. They dont care if you are sick or that you have got proof that you are sick and they threaten to fire you if you call in because of bad weather. Like one time where I live they had to close the flood gates and keep them closed all night because the water was so high that it could have gotten into the town. Well a person called in and told them that what was going on and they said find away to get here or we are couting it against you. also when it snows where I live the roads hardly ever get scrapped and there are like alot of black ice on them they still want you to risk you life for them. I dont care what anyone says bad weather is bad weather and work is not worth risking your life for. Plus they dont care about you at all they want what they can get and thats it. Like right now they are trying to fire someone I know of because they are sick and they do have proof they are sick. They take an make you do other peoples work in there departments when they got that person working there own department. I think they should look into other employers instead of picking on one person its not right. Why not go after the people who actually call in or have a dday and dont have proof of them being sick why not go after those people and leave the best worker along. Im sorry but I use to work at this walmart and got treated like dirt they made me do other peoples jobs and pulled them do other things. They got me over my absences which wasnt my fault I was sick and half of the days I missed was because of bad weather. But Let me tell you something if someone ask me would I refer a friend to work for them I will tell them no and I will tell them why you will never ever catch me working for walmart again I dont like the way they treat there employers. It saddens me that they only think about themselves who cares about people like us. they sure dont.I know two people right now working over there at walmart who are getting away with missing and calling in I know for a fact one of them had a dday and both of them are married by the way. The girl just got on the registers to cause another cashier problems and she done that for meaniess to that girl. I also know that the one just put on there from hba on the register has done everything in her power to ruin the other girls life. Before the girl from hba got put on the register this other girl didnt have problems now she does. Its also sad that the cashiers cant even go to the rest room with out getting in trouble. I mean come on if you have to go to the bathroom you have to go and you cant hold it. They make you stay on the register and will not let anyone off to go to the bathroom i dont care its not right if you are sick or you have a dirreaha then heck you should let that person go right there and then...Im really ticked and I hope that the girl that was in HBA and the boy that is in sporting goods get what is coming to them they are the ones causing all the bullcrap telling lies on someone who use to be his wife and her best friend who backstabbed the girl by sleeping together and getting married they are the ones that should be fired...Keep that girl that was in hba away from the registers and give that cashier they are causing trouble for peace its because of them walmart is threating to fire her instead of those two in sporting goods and the one that use to be in hba. I thought walmart was better then that. Dont they care for there health and the girls health dont they care for anyone but them selfs? The answer is no they dont give a crap about anyone not anyone. So glad im not working there anymore

  56. I am appalled at wal-mart policies and the way they work, If by chance someone contacts me that would be great, I worked for a wal mart in oklahoma, for 7 months, when i was hired i was told i was full time, so i never worked less than 40 hours in a week, and cause we were so short handed i always had 50 60 and even 70 hours per week, then in july i was told again congrads your full time, well i thought i was already full time, I worked hard for wal mart, in november i was transfered to a different department cause of my disapproval of a lazzy department manager, insted of the problem being resolved i was moved, I didnt disaprove of my transfer, but i was being nosey before i transfered, and asked if i could see my hours for vacation and sick days, when they showed me on the computer they said Oh it looks like you were never full time, then why in the hell was i working 40+ hours if i was not full time, they said i didnt have any vacation or sick time at all, THEY LIED TO ME for there own benifet, then transfered me and cut my pay, and told me i would have to wait till next year nov for vacation or insurance, thats a bunch of bull, I have consided filing a suit for fraud by deception, i dont like being lied to, and whats great about this is i have my hire papers that prove i was hired as full time, and i was there long enough to qualify for quater bonus, This i know for a fact, they told me i didnt qualify, i may still consider filing suit, i worked hard for wal mart and got scrwed for my effort. they can contact me at jjinlarnedkansas@yahoo.com if they wanna talk, cause i will not take this laying down

With temperatures running 30 below zero or colder most of the time I find it unexcusable that Wal Mart Corporation is the only store in town that will not allow the Salvation Army bell ringers to stand inside the doors! Not even in the entry ways! Talk about a company whose greed has gotten beyond the thinkable! They are afraid that having bell ringers inside would take away from their profits! I will not be doing my Christmas shopping at Wal Mart until they change this policy!

Went to Walmart In Pittsburg,Ca and I was denied a shopping cart. One of walmarts lazy employees told me that the shopping carts were for customers who are purchasing big screen T.V's..I was pissed.I had my 4 year old Grandson,2 sleeping bags,a vaccum and a gridle in my hands..Was struggeling and they just looked at me and stood there doing nothing. My Daughter asked about bikes and she was referred to 6 different employees.Walmart hired seasonal workers that don't know shit about customers service or how to get a bike off the rack...Lazy and lack the skills of customer service...Won't spend a dime in that Pittsburg store...Very sad and disappionting

I tolde 3 times before getting the hose and 3 times before I started. I spraded the floor and scrubbed and squegged it off. She claims I assaulted her with the water hose( what a joke and lie).

  64. Walmart in Ocala, Fl 9570 SW Highway 200 refuse to stock African American Dolls in their store. This is the third year I have gone into the store to make a purchase and was told they are not getting African American Dolls in this Walmart. Last year the Walmart Store Manager told me to go to a more Urban area to purchase Black dolls. Well I am fed up this year.....My Christmas tree is bare and will remain that way until I can go to my local Walmart and stock up on African American Dolls for my children. I told the Manager that it is going on 2012 and African Americans live in this community as well as shop daily at this Walmart. There should be African American dolls to purchase here as well.....Please Help, this is not fair!

  66. Purchased a 13" tire for my small utility trailer towards the end of October 2011 and noticed several buldges on the side wall of the tire and became concerned about the safety of the tire while traveling on the road. I couldn't find the receipt however as long as the return is within 90 days I have never had a problem in the past returning an item which is why I was surprised when I was told by a representative in the auto/tire department that Wal-Mart's return policy for tires does not include tires for trailers. Unless the trailer tire store policy is listed on the purchase document I was unable to find anything in the store explaining the return policy for tires does not include trailer tires. I was honest with my response that the tire was for a trailer and asked the employee if I had said the tire was for a car would he honor the return policy and he said yes. I explained that this action will terminate my business with the automotive departement at Wal-Mart in the future and the employee said that my comment was received mutiple times in the past and if I don't like it I can do business elsewhere.

The Wal-Mart store location where this encounter occurred is in Alvin Texas.

  67. Thinks Bryant managers needs to get there employees straightened out. I witnessed an employee Talking on her cell phone while zoning, then threaten another co-worker, and was repeatedly saying fuck this fuck that. Insane needless to say I will not shop there ever again, and will let everyone know how the employees are at Bryant Walmart in arkansas

  68. Wal mart does not care about their employees, they only care about making money. They are cutting everyones hours this month, even fulltime associates whove been there for years dwn to less than 20 hours a week! Their so called reason is, sales are dwn, when in fact there are more people shopping than usual. Anyone with common sense knows that november and december are the two busiest shopping months of the year, yet they are cutting hours of fulltime associates dwn to hours

that partime associates get when we were promised 40 hrs a week? In some cases the partime associates get more hours than the fulltime associates. That is not fair. Something should be done about this at store 1286.

I shop store #3529 and the service is great, everyone is so helpful, very polite. I told mgr Craig how pleased I have been this year. Even customer service moves fast. Craig was so nice and very glad to hear all I told him. Please Let Corporate about what this customer has had to say....GO WALMART!!! Rosemary Jones ( a big fan)

  74. I just wanted to let the general public know about the Wal-Mart store in Kenton OH. My wife ordered over half of our kids Christmas things online to be delivered to the above store. The email advised that the stores pick up hours were between 10am and 10pm on Dec. 19th. She was at the store at around 9pm and told that there was nobody there to get the items and she would have to return today (Dec. 20th)to get the items. When she returned today she was told that the items had been returned since she had not picked them up on the 19th! I called the corporate number and was told that they could do nothing and was transferred to Walmart.com. They tell me that our order expired today at 11:07am our account was credited with the money that we spent. I told the representitive that I would have not spent the money to begin with if I had not wanted the items and I wanted to get the items for my kids Christmas. I wanted to know who I could speak with about the store not holding up their end of the bargin and probably ruining my kids Christmas. I was told to contact the store itself and speak with the general manager but since I had my money back there was really no problem. I already had no satisfaction with the store itself or I would not have went up the ladder. The whole ordeal was a giant waste of time. If you plan on calling and complaining, don't waste your time as all that will happen will be you sent on a mad run for a certain aquatic fowl (wild goose chase). If everyone wants to really send Walmart a message then spend your hard earned elsewhere and let them sit on their store loads of Chinese crap! N.T. Heil. Merry Christmas I hope.

  75. I would like to express my frustration picking up my order last night. I selected to pick up my order at the Rt 27 Edison NJ Walmart, I have 2 other Walmarts in a 5 mile radius I could of chosen, but since that store opened I have been going there. I gave my paperwork with all my information to the gentleman in the counter, her proceded to take all my information, there was only one person other than myself waiting. He went to the back, came back 20 minutes later only to say I'm not able to locate either orders. At this point there 3 more customers had come in, he proceedes to take all their information as well and returnes to the back to only come back again 15 minutes later empty handed. He continues the search and was able to locate everyone's order but mine. Another customer that had been waiting for over 45 minutes now requested to speak with a manager no one ever came. Earlier I say a manager she went into the back room came out 35 minutes later with her coat on I asked her are you a manager she proceeds to say YES (with an attitude) I explained I had been waiting at this point for over an hour and half already, her response was I AM OFF THE CLOCK I was shocked that a MANAGER would say something like that and just WALK AWAY.

I have been shopping at Walmart since it first opened, I loved going into the store for it huge selections and one stop shopping.I have never felt so inferior as your manager made me feel. I work at a high end woman's apparel company and have been doing customer service for over 25 years and would never think of treating my customers this way. I was so upset by the time I received my shipment I was tempted to cancel my order. Unfortunately I need the dinning chairs for Christmas so I have no other choice but to take them.

I will think twice before making any purchases at Walmart again!!

Wrong items, wrong address when i tried to change the information within mins. the (live) person told me that it couldnt be changed! so i would advise you not to order anything online from Walmart also i spent over 20 hrs on the phone with Walmart 99% of the time on hold! So dont bother trying to file a complaint against them because they just ignore you! And if you email them they dont read your email the just hit the delete button in which they recieve traing in to do (delete dont read) So thanks to Walmart my 7 year old niece will not be getting what she so wanted for Christmas, so now i have to go to sears and buy her Christmas drive 200 miles, pay someone to feed 5 horses that is if i can find someone thanks to Walmarts online real people! So thank you Walmart (online live people) for the problem your ignorance created for me, Have a Merry Christmas! P.S. IM sure this post will also be deleted!

The problem is I had received an orginal e-mail stating that the products would be available for pickup on Dec. 22 and 23rd respectively. I received an e-mail this morning Dec. 24th stating that the packages were still unavailable so I called to speak to a customer service person about the experience. The surpervisor told me his name was Mark and he had a pretty bad attitude about it. He said "well you're not the only one this has ever happened to" and I told him I was very upset because this was a gift and if I knew I was going to get the run around I would have never chose your store. I liked your store up until this experience. The "supervisor" hung up in my face while I was still talking which is highly inappropriate and unprofessional. I see that he canceled my order after he hung up on me. I am very displeased and I don't believe anyone should be treated so poorly. Most professional establishments know how to handle these situations but clearly yours do not. On top of that after the "supervisor" hung up on me, they turned the phone back to offline because it stated that the offices were currently closed and will be open between 7-9 am central time, guess what it was open and I just got hung up on by an alleged supervisor. I don't know what you will do about this, but just know that before this I loved your store, but after this I will never spend a dime in your store. I'm beyond displeased with your store.

Walmart "Guarantees shipment by Christmas" BUT I was told BY A SUPERVISOR at walmart.com that Walmart guarantees shipment by Christmas TO FEDEX NOT TO CUSTOMER...think they should put that on their website? This is fraud! Not only this but they also send out emails saying my item has shipped when in fact it has not...I have proof , dated emails, etc...they will be hearing from my lawyer! I still have not received my in stock item and I ordered it Dec 9 with a guaranteed shipment of the 17-22nd.....apparently (per supervisor) my shipping date changes once it goes from warehouse to FedEx and is NOT told to the customer for it is then FedEx problem. My daughter got to open a piece of paper with a picture of her gift printed on it for Christmas thanks to Walmart and its illegal and very uncaring greedy ways! I would have settled for a email simply stating I wouldn't get by Christmas and options to cancel...instead I got "your item has shipped" "your item is on its way and will be there 17-22" THIS WAS ALL A LIE! I could have gotten her something else for I ordered on the 9th of Dec. I would like to be contacted by someone with answers...not just someone with sympathy because they have children at home too. 81. Walmart's price guarantee is a joke!!! I recently bought a computer bundle "Special Buy". 2 days later and before I even got it, the price was "clearance" at $50 less. Through email I was told it didn't qualify for their price guarantee so I ordered another one and returned the first one. I had the 2nd one a week and the price went down another $50 for "Special Buy". I was again told that it didn't qualify for price guarantee because it was under clearance and special buy and it was over 1 week since I purchased it. I would have bought another one, but I had started using the 2nd one and didn't figure I could return the 3rd one with the 2nd receipt. They make it sound like they interested in giving customers the lowest price yet they make excuses and find every reason possible not to give refunds for their online prices.

  82. Walmart.com is horrible. Walmart.com authorized against my account three times, without warning for a TV that I don't even have an order for because my address was wrong. It would not update but it certainly didn't tell me "hey" we are authorizing against your account every single time. I have spoken to 10 different people who each time have given me a different answer on what would happen. This is fraud. You have ruined my Christmas and New Years week, buy tieing up funds in my bank account, while I sit and wait for it to drop off. Your staff is un-iformed, and outright liers. feel free to look up my account if you care, but I doubt it. vgnaples@aol.com Everyone I know will for sure learn that walmart.com does not care about anyone or anything and will zap your card multiple times fraudently and will do absolutely nothing to reverse it. This happened because of an address change. Tried to update as requested, did not take the update but zapped my card again, and then tried again, and low and behold it is still sitting with the old address. Your last supervisor April I talked to totally tried to make it my fault as if tough shit lady nothing I can do. Tell me Walmart Staffers - How would you like if all of a sudden, due to an internet web site, your account was wiped out? then had no money for a week. Couldn't go to the grocery store, can't pay for the New Years Eve dinner reservations that have been planned for months. Can't buy your kids diapers? Each time I called can't even get put through to someone actually in finance or billing. Everyone must be to afraid to talk to and actually assist a customer with correct information. So look out Walmart.com buyers beware. 4 people said 24 hour hold, 4 people said 3-5 days it would drop off, one supervisor said by 9am today, and the last one April - 3-5 days and that there was nothing on my account to drop off. April has no business being a supervisor and that was probably a lie too. No managment at walmart at this corporate number.

I called back and asked to speak to the manager and when I spoke to him explained I had not received all my prescriptions and just been there and her called me a lier. I tried to explain to him what had happened and he wouldn;t listen just continued to tell me I was lieing. I was in tears and my daughter heard me crying and asked me what was going on. I explained to her what had happened and she took the phone and told the pharmacy manager that she would be returning to the store and he better have the prescription available - he then said I will do it this time as a favor and she told him you're not giving my mother anything my mother paid for the prescription and you insulted her and I am picking up what she paid for so you're not doing any favor you 're doing your job which you should have done in the first place. On arrival at store she asked for manager and told the woman at desk what she wanted, the woman went in the back and then came back with prescription and said the manager was not available. He is disabled and has medical conditions the managment there are giving him a hard time about his needing to sit once in a while and are pulling him into the office for little petty things. I feel like they are trying to get him to quit. They just suspended him with pay and asked him to write a letter stating why he wanted to keep his job there. I dont want him to keep his job there but he likes his job dispite all they are putting him through and i do not feel it is right. my fiancee is diabetic and is an amputee and has muscular dystophy and he was jsut told by his doctor that he has to be wheel chair bound if he is going to continue to work for ur store. I dont know if anything will be done about this but he had three different managers call him into the office for the same thing in one night and then he got written up for spending too much time with a customer trying to hook up a cell phone for her.It is totally ubsurd! 87. I refuse to shop at walmart any longer. Most of my family and friends are boycotting them as well! What your company did to me is insane and could have potentially ruined me. I had purchased a walmart money card earlier last year, then in September your company would not allow me to pay my bills with that card, so since my bank is in Texas and I am in Oklahoma I used the card to do a cash advance to my bank so I can pay my bills. When I could no longer load money I called and was told it was seen as a bill pay and I could not do that. So I got a new card that said BILL Pay on the card. Load $500 bucks and went home to activate and was denied. Called them back only to find that Walmart (who shares info with the banks) has flagged me for laundering money. I was never told in the first call I could never have an account with Walmart again. I have proof that money went directly into a bank and was not laundered but Walmart doesn't seem to care. Thank God I am not active duty anymore or my security clearance would have been yanked. Still waiting for Corporate to contact me...hopefully they will do this soon, and we can clear this mess up....if corporate wants to ignore yet another customer then they can contact my lawyer and answer to the news and the letter I will write my congressmen. It is not okay just because they are a big company to do this to someone. Once it was explained and I was willing to provide proof I should of been assisted rather than just given the bs run around they are so known for. Even if I have to pay more at Target or Best Buy I would rather give my money to companies more deserving.

When I was in the checkout line and attempted to pay with my check card, the young man told me that my card was not "going through". I had signed the screen and was informed on the screen that my signature had been accepted. The cashier asked for my card and swiped it several times through the machine and kept repeating that I did not have enough funds to cover my purchase!!! I paid for my purchases with another checkcard. I reported the situation to a manager. Upon arriving at home, I called my bank and learned that there was no way the cashier could have known of the balance in my account. And further, my bank informed me that I have $1776.00 in said account. I think this experience will prevent any future shopping trips to Walmart. They have NOTHING that I want that would be worth such embarrasment.

  90. I live in Shreveport, Louisiana. The Wal-Mart store that I am mentioning in this particular post is located on Shreveport Barksdale Highway. My husband and I were victims of racial profiling in this particular incident. We were not dressed up and had been doing some intensive work therefore; we looked a little worn. We are an African American couple and shopped in this store on Christmas Eve. W purchased some items from the electronics department along with two cases of water. As we approached the exit, they had a City Marshal at the door watching customers exit the store. As we approached the exit I saw him stare at us. He stopped us but not the people that exited previously. He asked my husband for his receipt. My husband stated he didn't need to see his receipt. He stated if we wanted to take our merchandise out the store we had to show it or he would not allow it. My husband studied law. My husband explained to him that Wal Mart lost all rights to the merchandise when we purchased it and he was practicing an illegal act. It is not posted nor stated any whee that receipt is due upon exiting the store. The Marshall told my husband he could detain him and my husband told him to do his job. He took my husband to the room she loss prevention was. My husband asked if he was under arrest and they to,d him no. He stated he was leaving. The loss pvention guys followed him out of the room. My husband told them they could look at the video to see if he purchased the merchandise because the comment was add they weren't sure if we paid for it or not. They were told to do their job. They stated they were the la and had the right but became upset when my husband explained to the Marshall you have arresting power and represents the law but you are not the law ecause the law is on the books. They asked for his identification and bottom line told him they could ban him from the Wal mart stores. When they realized that didn't upset us they continue to try and taunt us as we exited the building.
The bottom line is they can only ask for a receipt if they suspect a customer of shoplifting. Even then you must have exited the store. They cannot make that demand as you approach the exit as we did. They can also asked if the sensor goes off. This was neither the case for us and tere were three people who exited before us that he did not stop. Of course we did not get a positive response from anyone at this company about this incident ecause they feel they are correct practicing this illegal act.
The irony is the week before this we realized one of their cash registers was messed up and it was giving customers too much change back ecause the cashier gave what the machine stated. We realized this because I purchased a gift card for cash for sixty dollars and the cashier gave me fifty dollars back after I gave her a hundred dollar bill. When my husband and I realized the mistake, I took the money back to the register while my husband s
Oke with the managers about the problem. They ended up shutting down that regs tar bease it was malfunctioning and a week later this happens to us in the same store. People in the corporate world eed to pay close attention to how tier employees are treating customers. They have nothing to lose right now cause they don't see the handwriting on the wall but when you continue to mistreat customers as well as ban customers not only will your business suffer but I wonder if your employees realize they will be out of a job. I have sacred my stories with all my friends and family of all races and they have banned themselves from Walmart. After reading the post of how others have been treated, this isn't a store I would want to shop at any way whether this has happened to us or not.

  93. I had the very best experience getting Christmas cards from the Saddle Brook NJ Wal-mart. Even though it's an hour away I will continue to shop there. There is a closer Wal-mart in Suffern NY but I don't think headquarters knows about it... or it's not really a Wal-mart; someone just opened a store and put up a Wal-mart sign. It is absolutely the worst store I have ever tried to shop at. I actually looked around for hidden cameras to see if this was some kind of Candid Camera program showing how rudy clerks could be and how much the customers would take.
Keep it up in Saddle Brook.

I normally don't like going into this Walmart. Everything is always messed up. You can never find anything or price of something. Forget about checking out. Always 10-15 minutes. Since I was dropping my son off at work in the same shopping center and it was only 11:15 AM I figured it wouldn't be too bad. So I get the few things I needed. Coffee, jam and greeting cards. As I'm looking at the cards I see signs up for 75% off Christmas decor, wrapping paper, etc. So I see a few things I can put away until next year. I finally find an electronic price checker. You need to install more of these throughout the store. The few you have in this store is not enough. I wasn't the only customer looking for them. Prices came up $6.40 and 99 cents. OK I said for 75% I'll take them. Even though Target already is at 95% off. So I wait online for awhile. I see another cashier open but the light is blinking. I ask are you open? She said's yes but informs me she has no change. OK I say I wanted to pay cash but will pay by credit card if she can do that. She says yes and starts ringing me up. The prices on the register came out the same as the electronic price checker, 6.40 (2 items) and 99 cents (4 items). I ask when the 75% will be taken off she tells me this is the price with the 75% off. I said there was no way this cheap looking Christmas pillow was $25.60 and the thin 4 dish towels were $3.96 each. I ask for the manager and Edie on her employee tag (black heavyset woman, wouldn't give her name only Dave's) comes over and tells me she is the manager. I ask to talk to the store manager. She tells me Dave is the manager and he is on a conference call. I said I want to see him and she walked away. I waited awhile for Dave but he never showed. I told the cashier to forget the Christmas stuff, I'll just take the coffee, jam and the 3 greeting cards. Now I'm home and the cashier never put the white envelope from a black and red valentine card into my bag. I know it was white because I thought that's funny a white envelope with a black and red card. So now I have no envelope for my wife's valentine card. So this is another trip to this Walmart I don't enjoy going to. Something must be done to assist customers in your store. Wasting all my time going back and forth and writing this email. What about my gas I have to pay now to go back to your store? What have I saved at your store? Where was the store manager? I can see that the employees are covering up for the manager and for their lack of not caring about us customers. Please have a High Walmart Executive from Headquarters call me to discuss why I have to go through all of this to purchase a few items in their store.

  97. I'm so sick of going to Wal Mart knowing where my items are, going back the next day and they moved them or quit selling them. I live in Lucedale Ms and our local store is the worst store I've ever been to. 80% of the people that work there are rude. I've asked to talk to a manager and waited and waited and no one came to talk to me. Returning items is a nightmare, they won't let you return anything and forget trying to price match that's even worse. Bottom line is I would rather spend the extra money at the local grocery store than go into Wal Mart and experience an all around bad store.

  98. As a former employee of Store 119 in Batesville Arkansas, I think it is repulsive that The Store Manager there has such little regard for his store and family and community by having affair after affair with employees he is suppose to be the boss over. He left his wife for one customer service manager. She then was moved to another store before it became public knowledge that they were together. The Store Manager then divorced his wife leaving his three kids to be with the said customer service manager that got promoted to claims manager at another store from out of the blue. The store manager then soon married the new claims manager. Now after only 3 years of marriage, he has again caught with another store manager he is the boss over (breaking up her marriage and home with 2 small children) for his own personal happiness. I am ashamed to even walk into that store because no one should think they have to sleep with the boss to walk up the ladder of success. We are not there for his own enjoyment. This is a business now Patton Place. I have since quit the store I loved to work at for just under 10 years of service. I feel he should be stopped or at least be made to answer for his infidelities.

  101. I would like to say that I appreciate a good deal and I have found many bargains at Walmart, however I am not willing to sacrifice good customer service for any price. I’d rather be respected and have my time respected than be ignored and have to wait around while shift managers stand around in the aisles.

On Thursday, January 12 at 7:30pm I entered your store to purchase exactly three items:
    1. An organizational stand
    2. A tablecloth
    3. Television
After locating the first two items in a few minutes, I went to the electronics to look at the television selections. Initially, I was browsing but I still found it weird that in the five to ten minutes that I was browsing no one had asked me if I needed any assistance or even walked by working with another customer. Because the item I wanted was on clearance (floor model only) I stood around waiting for a representative to surface and even sent my daughter to ask a floor rep for assistance. Only to be told that the person working the electronics section would be back shortly. As we waited the 5-10 minutes it took the rep (Arthurina) to return a line began to form, so I asked if she could call someone else to assist me, at which time she informed me that she was the only one working in that section and that she would be with me after she finished with her current customer. Two or three customers later I went and stood patiently at the register to make sure she had not forgotten about me. Eventually Arthurina came over to get the display television but she walked away again saying she would have to wrap this one and something else I could not hear. Another 5 to 10 minutes passed before she returned announcing that she requested a key turn and the person would be over shortly. In the meantime yet another line has formed and another customer has picked up the television I’m waiting to purchase to take it to the front for purchase. Arthurina has not waited on any other customers and they are all very upset at this point. Arthurina and I proceed to walk the store to locate the front manager (Mrs. Lynda) for the key turn. Lynda comes over and apologizes to Arthurina for the delay but in no way acknowledges the line of angry customers until one notices the co-managers Mark and Brent (shift managers) talking close by and starts fussing about why aren’t they helping out if they have under staffed the store. Once Lynda confirmed that those were the shift managers another gentleman steps out of line to speak with them, while I am finally being checked out. However after my transaction is complete, I also walked over to the shift managers to make them aware that as a new resident to the Evergreen Park area the level of customer service that I’d received at this location was absolutely unacceptable and in no way makes me want to return to this particular store. I was dismissively told that the other gentleman had already made them aware of the delays.

Typically, I would not take the time to voice this grievance in such detail but this walmart is very conveniently located to my new house and I wouldn’t want to have to be inconvenienced by the poor customer service at this store. I have been a patron of Walmart since I became aware of the store, and in the past week I have spent over $500 at the Evergreen Store. I understand the economy probably affects the stores ability to staff at more appropriate levels but there are certain areas where cuts cannot afford to be made, and proper training is one. Excellent customer service is what keeps people coming back. Please work to address this issue of poor customer service that seems to be more prevalent in ethnic areas.

  102. Waverly,Ohio Walmart are not stocking Sunday paper coupon taxable items .They are keeping them out of stock till the coupons expire, mostly the $1.97 Schick razors & Olay 2-pk bar soap.Theses razors have been kept off the shelf for almost two months now. When I ask the lady in charge of this dept.if she could order me 21-pk's I was told she cant till she has a order of 60-pk.And that she places a order for these razors every week if they come they come if not ,then not.I think the store just isn't filling shelf items that there is a high coupon on. My coupon for these would make them free. Also told today that a price match of more than $1.00 off customers would now have to have that store ad to match it. Well I'll bring my ads ,but there are going to be a lot of people mad waiting in line when a customer like me comes in with 15+ price match ad on payday to do there monthly shopping. And everyone has to wait to confirm all ads. What happened to if your under $5.00 you don't need your ad ,anyway the store should have a copy of all other ads up front. They keep making changes I am going to shop elsewhere. Now this on top of them no longer allowing stacking coupons alone .Whats the deal anyway, they get there money from the coupons it is same as cash! I think it all falls back to lazy worker & a company that's getting more greedy each day.Your coupons are paper cash, but it's more work for them so they don't like customers using them They are trying to cut them out even though they are from a manufacturer trying to sell there product.

  104. This is in reference to the Plaquemine,Louisiana Walmart. My sister who is handicap was told today that there will no longer be scoooters for the handicap at the store. Most of the time they are not charged anyway. The worker pointed to this oversized wheelchair with a basket on the front and said thats is what she would have to use.I know there are people who use the scooters that really dont need to but what about the ones who do need them and cant push a wheelchair.I wish someone would look into this because those who are truly handicap needs scooters to be able to shop at Walmart.Another complaint I have at the Plaquemine Walmart is the removal of the deli table and chairs. I was told they were removed because a certain family sat there all day and woulnt leave the store.Well put up signs, why make things so inconvient for everybody. There is no place to sit and eat.I sure hope the issue with the scooters will be resolved and they wont be removed for the sake of those who truly need them....the handicap

Walmart prides itself on having STRONG customer service, along with STRONG internal policies concerning Walmart ethics. Walmart promotes a workplace of abiding by the rules and adhering to a HIGH MORAL CODE. The Walmart Islandia store, 2917, currently employs a poor performing, morally imparied Associate Manager named Lisa Smith (short black woman, wears a wig with glasses, about 45 years old, married mother of 2) who had an affair with her boss, the former store manager. She made no secret of her intentions - often following him around, making sexual gestures, constantly calling him and making the rest of the staff uncomfortable. She flaunted her relationship with him to the point where she abused her staff verbally and utilized her relationship with the married store manager as a tool to get away with it. As of October 2011, the affair was brought to light because during the heart of Hurricane Irene, when we were all called to duty to work - she REFUSED to come in. While all other employees - including the store manager - managed to find a way to the store, she did not come in and did not report to work for an entire week. Within weeks, an investigation was launched by Walmart ethics and the store manager was demoted and removed from the store. Shockingly, Lisa Smith remains at the store. WHY? There are two guilty parties - why was only one reprimanded for the actions of poor decision and lack of moral judgment? The store manager was AT LEAST a strong performer and did his best to run the store. She, on the otherhand, is a POOR example of a Walmart Associate - she is rude to her employees, lacks the ability to properly lead and delegate tasks. She forced fights and arguments with other associates to get them fired or fed up enough to quit. She was envious of any other female employee working near the store manager - the store alone has over 300 associates, majority female!

At this point, if Walmart is going to excise fair decision making, she needs to be pulled from the store because others are uncomfortable working with her. She walks around pining for the old store manager and talks negatively about the new store manager Dave. I would normally keep silent about an internal situation like this, but she was WRONG. She was told countless times to stop and kept pursuing to 'get' the manager. Now she is on her own and her performance is lacking. This needs to be reviewed and she needs to be sent to another store. Right now, the store is a mess and Dave has no idea that she is part of the problem. The Regional manager and Walmart Ethics have both been made aware of the situation - but only Dave (the new store manager) can conduct the evaluation and remove Lisa Smith.

It is because of Lisa Smith's presence in the store that many are unable to work to their fullest degree. Perhaps by alerting Walmart Corporate, something will get done to rectify this situation at the local Long Island store.

Walmart stresses Customer Service - it needs to start with it's internal customers - the Walmart team. If you cannot adhere to the beliefs and workplace policies, then you need to go. Check her emails...check her phone logs...review her work performance. It speaks for itself. Lisa Smith needs to be removed from the store, coupled with a demotion.

  107. Another walmart complaint, after reading all the negative
comments mine seems trivial, but walmart in Onley, Va. has
got to have the worst pharmacy i have ever been to. other
than being cheap they are worthless, as are most of the people associated with the pharmacy, recently i called to see if my perscriptions were ready, always call to check, even when they text you that your prescriptions are ready.after being assured they were, i drove 38 miles to pick them up.when i arrived the, clerk said no perscriptions were ready for me, and was very rude and hateful when i said i just called and also received 5 separate texts they were, they said if i didn't like it go somewhere else, this was a great comment and advice i am taking, will never buy from walmart again, all my perscriptions and families will be taken to Rite Aid or CVS where the workers are pleasent and helpful, not arrogant and rude and could not care less if they help you or not, this problem should be addressed by management, if any of my company's employees were like walmarts they would be unemployed immediately, especially the registered pharmacist's who sould be very professional, thankyou for listening. A return e-mail with your consideration would be appreciated.

  112. The comments I have read are so true! Walmart don't give a rats behind about the customers or their employees. I don't know which one they treat worse! I have been waiting on a $19.96 refund from walmart.com since Dec. 23. 2011. I ordered a game on line and it was no longer in stock at any of the stores and they have been giving me the run around since the 23rd of Dec. I did have some since of relief thinking that I could contact the corporate office and maybe get the problem resolved...but after reading these messages I know I can forget being help. I've been saying from the start, the problem starts at the top in corporate. Walmart is a disrespectful, having a lack of moral ethics, stealing from their customers and under paying their employees riddicously horrible company. Their vile acts will never change due to the fact that we continue to shop there. They know that they are the #1 retail manufacturer out here, so we need everyone all over the U.S that corporates a walmart to go on a major strike and that includes employees! I know not likely especially for the employees, people need to live but for us customers, if we stuck together and banned shopping from walmart I really believe they would have to make major adjustments in their services or at least become empathetic to their customers/employees...we also need to go to local news channels and put them on blast!!! Walmart can't be a successful company without its customers!

  119. I recently went to the rosemead, ca super-center store on walnut grove and was applauded at the display of non-priced items so much that I made it my job to call local weights and measure, corporate office, and i am now on here to express my concern. I personally have worked in retail for years and know the in's and out's of product placement, pricing, customer service and the importance of keeping associates happy. I feel sorry for this store's employee's because they too have had issues with management not caring that it takes them twice as long to get a price check because of lack of price tags. Upon check out there were no "HELLO, HOW ARE YOU?, DID YOU FIND EVERYTHING YOU NEEDED?" anything, nor did she smile once. There is no reason that at a store level the managers do not fix obvious problems, and that on a corporate level the DM's aren't walking the floors with the SM's & ASM's to locate areas of improvement and concern. Price tags are the one associate you never have to pay so why is it so hard to put them up? Another question, I DIDN'T KNOW WALMART SOLD EMPTY PEGBOARDS AND GONDOLA SHELVES. I don't understand why floating displays, endcaps, and shelved in fixed locations were completely empty. Hire an outside company to walk in and asses your stores and then you will find that your employees on many levels are unhappy and it shows in their work and lack of pride in what they do. IM SORRY WALMART, I love shopping at your stores but someone has dropped the ball at this particular location!

  123. I've beeen going to Walmart in Petersburg, VA since I moved here. I basically go there for the grocery dept because they are more reasonable in cost than the 2 grocery stores in my area. The majority of the people in the store are friendly and being that I'm there almost every week for six years you get to see the same familiar faces and alot of them say hi how ya doin when they see ya. The last couple of months though one of their male employees a black male with long braids has suddenly started harrasing me. I see him all the time I don't really know what he does there, because I've never seen him working. He's either walking around or talking to other employees. He has started making comments about me to other employees and talks just loud enough so I can hear, but never to my face. Last weekend I was in the store and he was with another employee and when I walked past, the other employee he was talking to is one of the nice ones and is always helpful. He looked up when I walked by and I said Hiya how ya doing and kept on. I walk down a little bit and he mocks me and imitates me once again not to my face. At other times when I've been looking at items I'll look up and see him just standing there watching me?? I've no idea why this employee has sudddenly started this. I've seen him previously and I could tell he's not friendly to customers and lazy, but we just always went our way. So I've no clue why he started this harrassment. I approached him this week I'm oringinally from New York and I don't play games and asked him in a nice manner exactly what was his problem with me was? Thought maybe he'd be a man and say something to face, yeah right. And he stated I've never seen you before today. Liar. Also since he has started harrassing me employees who did say hi and were friendly previously will not say hi if he is there. I wonder why? Well I gave him fair warning and told him I knew for a fact it was him and if he didn't stop I was going to report him. Just as I was getting ready to leave him and finish my shopping another employee who I see all the time was coming up to us and you had to see the nervous look on his face when he saw me talking to him. Makes ya kinda wonder what kind of control he has over others? I hate getting people fired or in trouble, but why should I be harrassed for no reason when trying to go shopping. I wish Target would build a Super store across the street. Then I could do my shopping there, but there are no Super Targets in my area. I've noticed too that since they have remodeled the store their prices have gone up and you don't find the deals you used to. In fact also of their items have gotten very expensive and alot of the departments alot smaller.

  124. I purchased a flat screen tv from our local walmart in Anderson, Calif. This was to be a gift for a friend and the sales clerk told me they had 30 days to get the extended warranty. When my friend went to purchase the warranty she was told that they stopped doing that, and
you have to purchase it when you purchase the item. What the heck? How can we resolve this issue asap. Due to this situation, I will probably never buy them from you again. This is CRAP!

Customers not shopping at that store and asking the people they know not to shop there should be bad for walmart business. Why is she still there.

  126. I worked for Wal Mart for 18 years before taking another job. I worked for 15 years on that job, and was laid off because of downsizing. I went back to Wal Mart and the change was drastic. I was a Night time sales clerk (4 1/2hrs) in Hardware, but was responsible for 6 other depts as well. I to was responsibe for putting up the freight from Receiving Area in all 6 of the covered areas that the day crew(8 hrs) left, along with my nightly Task Assigned by Supervisors. Seemed the Sales lady in Sporting Goods had some kind of rapor with the night Management as she would disapear for hours and I was left to mix paint, sell hunting and fishing licenses along with ammo and run the registar. I had no CBL's on any of this.I would call management to help when I was backed up with Customers and if management came buy they would say "YOU NEED TO WORK BOTH PLACES.TAKE THEM AS THEY COME UP. IF THE PAINT WAS BACKED UP FIRST THEN DO THEM AND TELL THE SPORTING GOOD CUSTOMERS TO BE PATIENT, INSTEAD OF HELPING WAIT ON SOME OF THEM AND GETING THEM OUT OF THE LINE. IT SEEMS WE HAD MORE UN-PRODUCTIVE MANAGEMENT THAT WALKED AROUND DOING NOTHING THAN WE HAD CLERKS TO HELP DO ALL THE WORK.
I QUIT THAT STORE LATER PART OF OCTOBER, MOVED TO ANOTHER TOWN AND AM NOW UNABLE TO FIND ANYONE WHO CAN HELP ME GET MY W-2 TAX FORM. THEY HAVE ALL GIVEN ME THE RUN AROUND.The store I originally worked said they had no idea but it probably went back to the Home Office in Bentonville. I called there and you can not talk with any one. Just recordings. I have sent 3 e-mail messages asking about the W-2 and still no reply. I guess I will car the IRS and see if they can help me. Wal Mart has gone so downhill from when Sam Walton was alive it needs a name change. It is not Family Orientated and no Customer Satification any longer. You would think the home office with all it's money would poll the Employees and see what the REAL TRUTH is inside their stores and fix it.

Jars of gravy broke & spilled dried on & not cleaned up. No body will ever help u find anything & check out lines r never opened. I would rather spend more money & shop SafeWay. 133. My name is Maisha Hicks. I ordered a product online under the card holder name of Helena Auer. Order #8692014770120. I was lead to believe I was buying a Dresser due to the false advertising and misleading representation of your website. I navigated through your website using the search engines provided: Home > Furniture > Bedroom Furniture > Dressers, and was brought to a page to display Dressers you have available (NOT MIRRORS).

There I see a picture of a Dresser, with a Mirror that is clearly connected to he Dresser. After selecting the item I notice you have displayed another photo of the dresser showing it with the attached mirror in a bedroom setting. None of just the Mirror. The title of the product, in which you have conveniently placed in a search engine for "dressers", surrounded in a section filled with dressers, and displayed with a dresser connected to the item (Giving the illusion it is only 1 item) states: Wildon Home Double Oak Dresser Mirror in Cappuccino.

I am infuriated with your methods of deception. I don’t know who exactly is to blame in your company but false advertising is illegal and it is truly unfair to loyal consumer such as myself. It is now costing me $24.00 dollars for a return shipment, gas money and time out my day to haul the large item back to ups, and a huge inconvenience of waiting for the money I spent on this product to become available. Not including the hurt I feel for being cheated. I called the 18005844348 # provided and found your customer service to be unable to assist me with this issue and unwilling to provide information on who could.

A reprehensive by the name of Ashley Collins blatantly refused to provide me with the contact information of your corporate division as well as refuse to direct me to someone in a higher position other than herself.

I must add, I do apologize for my bad language, and my ill temper when speaking to your representative Debra Phackinh as well as Ashley Collins. I was wrong to address my frustration to them in such a manner.

I understand people make mistakes as I have made them myself many times but I except those who have made them take responsibility and accountability for their actions.

I’m writing this with the hopes that some member of your corporation will have some form of decency and address this matter. I do not wish to be accountable for the deceit of your website nor its designer. I do not wish to take legal matter. To me that would only be an extension of the inconvenience that I have already endured. All I ask is to be given my full refund and also the proper forms to return the item with out any cost on my part.

    Looking forward to your response,

    Maisha Hicks

  134. I live in Oklahoma, and my Wife has worked for Wal-Mart going on 24 Years. Wal-mart has been getting worse over the years, but this last year 2011 has been the worse for her. She has been a department (8 Dept) manager for over 21 of those years, and truly takes her job serious. But these idiots that they put in as Assistant Managers could not manage to get them self’s out of a WET PAPER SACK. 90% of the time she works her departments by herself because her AM is off doing god knows what and no one wants to work part-time with rotating hours. But let a Big Wig from higher come in and it’s ALL about kissing Ass from the Managers and the AM’s. I have 29 years in the Military and could show these so called AM a thing or two about running things. It gets so bad at times my wife cry’s about the shit she has to deal with. Bottom line is it ALL Starts and the TOP Cooperate to Managers to the Assistant Managers most are not willing to DEAL with problems in there store, or too much of a Wussy to confront it.

  135. Yes, I see wal-mart is the worst company to work for. The store in Savannah, Georgia let thier entire night shift go to cover thier asses. They said that they were not excepting counterfiet coupons. What is a counterfeit coupon. I was really upset because the ladies on the night shift was the best. I only went thier during the night because they really know the meaning of customer service. The managers leave a bad taste in your mouth. I remember one time the CSM call for a manager and do you believe they would not come to the front. I went out side called the store they answered the phone. I told Manager Alton that I had been waiting on him in the store for 15 and he never came to the from to address a issue and a concern that I had. He appologized, but I felt that It was not real he did not mean what he said it sounded like I was not important. They are getting ride of employees, they need to get rid of some of the managers. I don't understand you all will get rid of employees because they are not smiling or they are not being friendly to the customer. Corporate should take a long look at the managers that you all hire. They have the worst demeanor about them. I understand that you are in a managers position but you don't have to be nasty to oyour employees. The store in Savannah on Montgomery Crossroads all of the managers are nasty, please if you travel to Savannah don't go to the store. I stopped going thier. I have had several bad experiences in that store.

  138. Your Store #1997, Latham, NY fires honest, hard-working, dedicated employees on the hearsay of another disgruntled employee. These were both single-parents who depended on the income to support their children. One a father and the other a young mother. The disgruntled employee made it seem like they were dating each other (one a supervisor and the other a customer service rep., working different shifts) which I guess is frowned upon, heaven knows why. He does not like the male employee and wanted the csm position for himself plus the female worker turned down a date with him and would not share an apartment with him. Both employees admitted that they would meet with other friends together for a fun night out but were fired for romantic involvement which was hardly the case. If they can fired these type of employees (may I say that they worked what ever hours given to them included until 12:30 a.m. for the young mom) what kind of employees do they want working for them? I think the district manager should have investigated the situation a little further and he would have found out the truth ot was he trying to save the store from having to pay out the bonus that the young mom was anticipating receiving(and would have gotten in another week). I will let you know that this happened after they let her work from 3 to 10 last night (2/23/12) was scheduled to work until 12:30 but I guess they only needed her part of the shift for the coverage, then they called her in and fired her. I will say that the store manager did not want to let her go, he found her to be a dedicated worker and would rehire her in a minute if he could, but she cannot be rehired there ever. They blackballed her. She has another job prospect lined up and it looks good. So to the hiring practices at Wal-marts I say screw you. You are one of the worse employers that I know and I wouldn't want to see my worse enemy go to work for you. You treat your employees like shit.

Way to go assistant management Nicole and your side kick. Wish I could catch the name but with hidden name tags... Its not to easy. Oh and by the way... When you continued to argue with me over 4 dollars.... I decided my 4 dollars will be spent some where else. Not sure what gives you the right to feel that you can disrespect someone the way you did. 141. My husband and I was in your Athens, GA Wal-Mart Super Center #1400 earlier tonight (02/26/12), looking to purchase a desk top PC. My husband and I compared the different PCs by specifications and price. Well, found the PC that we wanted for $398.00. So we took the pull ticket as per the directions to the check out. When we got to the check out at the Electronics Desk, the PC rang up $698.96!!! Thats a price difference of $300.98!!! The cashier was very, very nice and professional, (Thank you Jennifer!!!) she called the Manager, (Chris Shuburt) who did NOT come to the Electronic Department to see where the price was listed or to help solve the problem. He sent word to tell us that "there was nothing he could do except give $20.00 off the price that was ringing up!" My husband and I stated that we wanted to speak with Chris in person. After waiting for 10 min, he finally showed up. My husband walked him to where the particular computer that we found was, showed him the price listed on not 1, not 2, BUT 3...YES THREE of these computers were price marked as $398.00!! Also I know that Wal-Mart DOES have a policy of matching MISMARKED items if the consumer can show the manger the PROOF of the MISMARKED item. Which my husband did!!! Chris Shuburt stated "that there was nothing he could do. It was a judgement call and he was NOT going to price match the mismarked item! His attitude from the get go was very unprofessional, rolling his eyes and seemed in a hurry and didn't want to be bothered. Unless these things are new added professional traits, which the last time I checked, they WERE NOT!!. This is appalling how we were treated tonight. My husband and I worked for Wal-Mart years ago (my husband was a manger) and this type of customer service was NOT tolerated! What happened to "the customer is ALWAYS right" and the Wal-Mart Policy that is posted at ALL of your registers of PRICE MATCHING??? Obviously these are all things that are just a figment of my and the rest of the country's imagination! I am sure Sam Walton is turning over in his grave right now to know that the company that he started with his own blood, sweat and tears has turned in to a non-caring company!!

  144. I am filing a complaint with the Department of Consumer Protection for my state tomorrow. Today was the SECOND time that I made a purchase on Walmart.com for a store pickup in another state. On both occasions, I was advised online that the items were available at a certain store, so I placed the order. The funds were INSTANTLY placed on hold from my checking account. One hour later I received a confirmation from Walmart. Ten minutes later I received a message from Walmart that my items could be picked up at a certain time. Eight minutes later I received a message that my order was cancelled. I have been advised that my funds will be released within 3 to 5 business days. One would ask why I did this a second time since it had already happened to me once before. I simply gave Walmart the benefit of the doubt...hahaha. The first incident happened in November. Since then I have been doing business with K Mart. I have placed 8 orders with K Mart in the last 5 months, once I had a problem with an order being over looked and was offered a $25.00 gift card for the inconvience and an apology all within a 24 hour period. Excellent customer service at K Mart!!! I do a lot of purchasing online that my daughter, who lives in another state, picks up at the local store. Today, K Mart did not have the 3 items in stock so I tried Walmart again....my mistake!!! I have spoken with a friend who is an attorney and he has advised me to contact Consumer Protection because Walmart is in violation of the Deceptive Trade Practices Act. They are offering a service that is misleading. They knowing lead you to believe that the merchandise is in stock and ready for pick up. They take your money and THEN tell you that "nope, we really don't have the merchandise in stock". Walmart Customer Service tells you that "this is our policy" and they are aware of the deception (I have the representive on tape). The snotty customer service representative said (and I quote) "Your having a problem understanding what I'm saying - Walmart DOES NOT "HAVE" your money, there is just a "HOLD" placed on the funds and it will be released in 3 to 5 business days" REALLY?? I'm not having a problem understanding anything - I understand that as a result of Walmart's deceptive advertising, I don't have access to my money for 3 to 5 days, nor the merchandise I purchased. It is considered unlawful business practice. If everybody files a complaint about Walmart with their local Department of Consumer Protection then maybe their "policy" will be forced to be changed. I have had a "sour taste" in my mouth about Walmart for many years when a local store manager once told me "Walmart does not donate to the war effort". Well, my son is a United States Marine who spent time in Afghanistan defending the Walton family's safety and freedom.....your scumbags!!!!

  146. RE: Order Number 2677159-815490

UPS on-line tracking reflects that this order has been stuck at the New Jersey UPS Innovations terminal for four days.

It was promised for delivery by 3/15. I need in at my home in Maryland by 3/17, at the latest. I contacted UPS and they could not help - they told me to contact the shipper. I tried, with no success, to get help from your walmart.com service person (Brandon @ 800-925-6278) and supervisor (Michelle) and Wal-Mart's Corporate Headquarters (Recardo @ 479-273-4000).

They all indicated that there was no way (for them or me) to contact UPS or your Distribution Center to find out the actual status and/or arrange overnight shipping. They all indicated that there was no one else that they or I could speak to regarding this situation within the entire Wal-Mart corporation. Michelle and Brandon indicated that it appears the shipment has been lost and that there are only two options: 1) a refund or 2) a replacement (that would not arrive until well after the need date). When I continued to ask to speak to someone else, both Brandon and Michelle hung up on me.

This is a sad commentary for Wal-Mart and UPD Innovations.

Please have someone contact me today to discuss this matter and arrive at a reasonable solution.

  147. I purchased several items at the Walmart on Hampden Avenue, Denver awhile back. The prices on the shelf were one price, then I was charged more at the checkout. Customer treatment was very rude. I put in a complaint, per the request to comment on the bottom of the receipt. Someone called and told me they would mail me a giftcard for $5 to cover the overcharge. I gave them all the information. They never sent the card. Today, I called customer svc., and was left on hold 3 different times and told they knew nothing about this and would call back. They never did. this may be an insignificant amt. to you but not to someone retired on disability. What a shoddy way to treat customers, or should I say former customers because I will never shop there again.
The so called customer service mgr was very curt. I will just blast this information all over the internet including Facebook because this is disgusting. I want that $5 giftcard. 148. I am an employee for a walmart store in SC and i cannot believe the way management handles problems. it seems like everyone of them only care if it concerns them if not then its like you are aggravating or wasting their time. They never look over schedules to make sure departments are covered and running correctly. sometimes our fitting room only has one asssociate there when there should be more. that person has to run the desk but also has to take care of the whole department (keep in mind they are not suppose to wander too far from desk) and infants is far from the phone. I do not understand why a company with so many managers has such a problem with scheduling. they treat people like crap and make you feel very stupid at times. the tone they use in their voice is horrible. I have a friend that gets scheduled 2-11 and the next morning have to be in. they do this to him/her constantly and each time they have to go to management and that manager pushes the problem until its time for them to leave. And when he/she reminds them they act like they are asking the world of them to fix the problem. And the next week it happens all over again. In fact some managers tell him/her that oh well you need to find someone to switch with. well the problem with that is first you arent suppose to ask other associates about their schedule, second it would be a miracle to find someone who has a schedule that you could switch with and most people do not want to work 2-11 or give up their 7-4. Point is, it is NOT the associates job to fix their schedule its management. And walmart prides itself with the open door policy but it surely does not hold to it! Its bad when associates fear going to management with problems because of the way they are talked to and treated. I really think walmart needs to better its management in our store!

  149. Made a purchase on-line of a gift card with my store card. I am currently on a job assignment outside of the USA for a period of 7 years. When bill arrived, I went to local Wal-Mart store to make payment on Wal-Mart credit card; payment resused because card was issued in the US. I have since made several attempts to pay bill with credit card, debit card, personal check, cashiers check from bank/country where I am assigned. All efforts have been refused by Wal-Mart customer serivce; I am told the only payment they will accept if a debit card from a US bank. Since I have not been in the US for over a year, I do not have that option. Money orders in the country where I am located cannot be issued in US currency for whatever reason. I am receiving threatening calls and late charges mounting up that customer service does not want to remove. I called corporate headquarters about this and was transferred to the customer service department that refused my payment in the first place. I have been trying to pay this bill through every avenue open to me in the country where I am located and have met nothing but attitude, threats, and no resolution whatsoever from every Wal-Mart person, management and non-management to whom I have spoken. I will not be back in the US for a meeting until October 2012; even closing out my account, I will still be charged late fees from now until then. How difficult can it be to take this money grubbing monster a payment? This is an international company with stores all over the face of the Earth. Americans travel and many still look for Wal-Mart when traveling. Not being able to make a payment on any Wal-Mart account anywhere in the world is not to be believed. I swear by all that is holy, I am through with Wal-Mart. I will NEVBER shop there again for any reason. Sad thing is, I grew up across the street from Sam, Helen, Jim, Alice, Rob, and John. What Wal-Mart has become is NOT Sam's vision. What the hell happened?

  150. i have been a loyal walmart customer for years. i also have been a travel nurse for many years and have noticed that your stores serve populations differently. i recently left the north little rock, arkansas area and moved to tucson, az. the quality of these stores no where compares to what is in little rock area. the quality of goods is not available. i realize that this is a more depressed economic area but some walmart shoppers are not in that classification. i was sorely depressed when shopping in the marana area walmart. 3 years ago it was progressive and within the standards i had been used to seeing. after visiting a few days ago it was more like a 'dollar store', lots of junk in the aisles, very difficult to navigate and no purchase friendly opportunities. this really distresses me. there are almost no super walmarts in this area and that is where i am used to purchasing my food products. looks like i am going to have to find somewhere else to spend my money. i realize that you offer products that are within the means of the local economy. that was very evident in the flagstaff, az. area a few years ago. with the local population mostly reservation residents, the quality was i am sorry but junk! is there an upscale walmart in the tucson area that offers the products that i am used to seeing? wow, this is really depresssing.

  153. I have read quite a few of the comments on this page and noticed the majority of them are negative. I live in the Nampa/ Caldwell area in Idaho and there are three Walmart stores in my area. Walmart is a large corporation, so of course you are going to run into a problem here and there, but to be honest, the three stores in my area are great! The employees do a wonderful job, for the most part and I almost always find what I need or want at a very reasonable price! There is a woman at the Nampa location that has been there since I moved to the area, she sees me every single time I go in and ALWAYS goes out of her way to greet my children. She is amazing, one of the sweetest women around, and my kids love seeing her there! There is also a man in the Caldwell location that works in the meat department.. I have never really liked purchasing meat at Walmart because surprisingly it is somewhat over priced for my area, but the man at the Caldwell Walmart has changed my mind! He was wonderful, excellent customer service and he was very nice to our family! Because of him, I have started buying meat there.

  155. I had a run in with Walmart Loss Prevention in Bloomington, Indiana store #1991. One of the LPAs claimed he saw me intentionally hide merchandise in my purse and then try to exit the store. This man filed a report with false information, including details about what I had carried in the store in order to hide merchandise (nothing of which I actually had.) When I asked to see the video of me walking into the store with the sweater he claimed I had he refused. When I asked to see the video of the alleged intentional hiding of the merchandise, again I was refused. I was told that if he decided to he could have me arrested on his word alone... Naturally I was pretty upset, and obtained a lawyer the next day. The lawyer informed me that he had taken a case two months prior for the same type of case. This same Loss Prevention associate followed a 68 year old woman around the store for 45 minutes, finally approached her and told her that if she continued with the suspicious behavior he would have he arrested and serve her a no trespass warrant. This poor woman spent that night in the ER with a severe anxiety attack that caused her throat to close, due to the inappropriate allegation and threat of being arrested. How sick does a human being have to be to chase down an old lady. This gentleman has a profound misunderstanding of his job title, and needs urgently to be reprimanded by the Wal-Mart corporation. This sick human being is representing Wal-Mart in a disgusting manner. I hope his superiors have the common sense to can him...

  156. Dear Corp Home Office.

I just wanted to say I have been customer at the Putnam,Ct.Store #1980 and I find it funny how the Big wiggs from Corp-Office had came to pay the store a visit on 3/28/2012 and as they never get the enjoyment of music playing except for christmas holiday,in the store for the customer to enjoy while shopping and to help motorivate the workers as well. Then for some funny reason the day before and day of the visit from corp office the music was put on and was loud enough for the whole store to hear it all through out the store.(But) the very next day it was shut off and taken away from them once again. Was this just to impress home office into thinking they always offer this on a daily enjoyment cause they DO NOT. They are not aloud to hear music in this store. I do have to say it felt nice coming into the store hearing the music playing made me want to have a great day shopping there as they do have alot of slow days in that store alot lately and they have not made sales in sometime now. They do always hear alot of complaints from their customers asking them why it's so dead and quiet no matter what time of the day it is, and no music playing in that store as they enjoy shopping in stores that play music while they shop. Note also all other retail stores i've go into have always played music over head, includeing other Walmart's, Sear's, Kmart's, Tj Maxx stores and all other retail store it's and enjoyment for everybody to enjoy. My god even the local Supermarkets play music.
My question is how many complaints is it going to take until this store starts to show how much they Apperiate their every day returning customers and also their hard working assoicate workers as well?
The assoiate's I've over heard alot of times the worker's get yelled at all the time for issues they can not control. As the Cash Resister depit readers never work They have to slide the customers credit cards for them, alot of customers don't like that and say why don't they put alittle money in this store to fix their resisters? We see the frustation all the time, or the other thing is alot of the idems in the store are missing price tags or mismarked wrongly priced and the customers get mad at us worker's cause they have to wait to get a price check done before they can buy the idem.
Can changes be made to improve this store soon?

    1. Walmart has to do the right thing and reject Monsanto's genetically engineered sweet corn before our April 1st deadline. Walmart must refuse Monsanto's unlabeled, untested and potentially unsafe GE sweet corn. I will be watching and I will no longer shop at Walmart and neither will my friends or relatives. We will take out business elsewhere.

  157. Walmart should open its own version of .99$ stores that includes grocery items and basic necessities.
It could be the store for the 99%.
    How about it?

  158. Why can't your stores be properly staffed, and properly stocked? You cut the hourly associates hours, and then you expect less people to get more done. Yet the stores are hiring new help all the time, cutting it to the amount of budgeted hours that the current faithful workers should be getting. If you would take better care of your faithful few, they will in turn take care of the company. This would turn into a faithful many, because more people would want to work for Walmart. Sam Walton I believe, had it right. What happened to his philosophy? It must have died with him. God rest his soul.

  159. Is there a e-mail to e-mail someone corporate Iam overseas serving the country and i just found out my mother was let go working 12yrs at our local store before there even super center she was there. My mother was let go cause the store was not properly staff and see did what any hard worker would do and that's help your customers see couldn't punch into work early so she was helping off the clock on her own time. Which didn't bother her at all cause she loved working for Walmart. So I guess that's Walmarts way how showing there support to there works when the economy bad we fire the hard works that helping the store out when they can staff enough people so I guess that makes it her fault then. Is there anyone that has a e-mail to a highier personal cause that doesn't seem right to me at all. She is not the first person I heard of this either

  160. EVERYBODY I used to work for that so called Corporation aka Walmart, but really its just like a prison with pay and you get released on good behavior at the end of your 8 hour shift, the only thing missing at walmart are the handcuffs and leg shackles. They don't care about the workers or what they have to say, in fact if you speak your mind to them it will come back on you. They do whatever it takes to find ways to coach you or terminate you. Walmart is the worst place you could ever decide to work at, and I will continue to do whatever it takes to limit the amount of business it will get. Also from a customer point of view, I have never been treated as badly as in that place. People are completely rude which is amazing because CUSTOMERS ARE THE WORKERS PAYCHECK, so to be treated like crap is completely wrong.

  161. Have you experienced the North Dakota Walmart's. It is really sad, as an employee it is horrible to hear the customers complaining about lack of cashiers. It is even worst to hear our employees lack of breaks, lack of help in departments. Our pay incentives being taken away because of greedy managers. Temps working for more money than us "Wal-Mart" employees. Really!

  163. I just want to give a heads up that Walmart is a sponsor of ALEC. Which is American Legislative Exchange Council, This is an organization that will write bills, and have actually been submitted by state senators, and congressmen. They are behind the "stand your ground" law , which is basically a law to legal murder. They are also behind all this "voter I.D. law", just to name a couple, These laws have been submitted word for word , from ALEC to our Government . I will not shop and spend another Penney at Walmart , and ask others to do the same. We have enough problems with our government laws , much less to have any outside influence. Many companies have already pulled support from ALEC. And Walmart should do the same.

Come on in transit for over a week?? And they are constantly moving things around. You go in on way home from a long day at work, and you have to spend an hour trying to find 1 item that you knew where it was, Oh guess the dust bunnies move stuff at night.

  166. Who do i contact about a department who is giving special treatment to one person? Everyone is fed up with it and no fair. There is a person who works in the pharmacy department and has been late to work everyday for almost two yrs. and id real good friends with the manager there and gets away.with to much. Anyone else would have been fired by now. Its unfair and not right at all. To many people are complaining. Something needs to be done about the manager and the person who is always later never on time. They both need to be fired and under new management.

  167. I live in North Miami and shop at 3 different Walmarts, spending more then $5000.00 every year. Well that is now in the past. I am so disgusted with these unbelieveably rude employess. I actually stood in line yesterday for 20 minutes while the cashier was fighting with a girl that was 3 people back from me, about her line being closed. The girl was there before the cashier shut her light out, not to mention, she only had 2 items. This arguement went on for 5 minutes while 6 of us stood there. This is an absolute disgrace!!! I will not deal with this kind of crap anymore. I will be more then happy to spend an extra few cents and go to Target, where the employees know how to treat customers!

  168. I was going to write and complain about the lack of knowledge your associates have in the department that they work in. It is like they have all started that day. And I have seen this in four different stores this spring. But reading some of the other comments I see knowone cares. All upper management seem to care about is there bonus checks

  170. I think they should have the "UNDERCOVER BOSS" people in Wal-Mart everyday and see just how the show (Wal-Mart) is really run. Wal-Mart is getting bigger and bigger and it is running other stores out of business.I also believe Wal-Mart needs to stop with the Fructose crap (sugar)they put on their shelves and push in the their stores. They need to stop with the store growth and take care of the stores they already have. Wal-Mart is big enough and I am so tired of the store. Seems like where ever we go there is a Wal-Mart and no other store to buy from that is so boring. And Wal-Mart saying, "they roll the prices back is a LIE"!!! The prices keep going up-up-up. This needs to stop and soon..

    ReplyDelete
  171. Undercover Boss wouldn't help. All the stores I have been into are all the same. They would have a years' worth of the show and it wouldn't help. Corperate isn't going to do anything!! We can all complain, rant and rave all we want. Sam Walton is rolling over 24/7.LOL they didn't get the #1 Fortune 500 this time,Exxon did. YEAH !!!
I wish I could shop else where but when you have to depend on someone else for transportation you tend to shop where they do. I may just switch to K-Mart anyway. They are more friendlier and will give discounts when they are out of stock and will sell you the display item. And there is always a friendly associate to help you. You don't have to interupt a conversation between associates. And the managers know about their products.
I have been stopped at the door and they have gone thru my purchases as if I had shoplifted. I asked what they were searching for and "We will tell you when we find it" I didn't get an apology and never did know what they were looking for.
I have since moved out of state and I have left my cart after checking out at customer service to go and purchase an item I forgot to get. I walked to my cart and walked out without anyone asking me if it was my cart, anyone could go and walk out with over 300.00 of my purchases. Where was their Loss Prevention then?? It all comes down to WE ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY!! Your emotional welbeing doesn't matter to us, being embarresed in front of onlookers doesn't matter to us, and your purchases are paid for and you could be SOL if someone else grabs them..
I am embarresed to even mention that I use to work at WalMart. I was fired for eating broken stale Nacho chips because I didn't get my breaks. I had a Door Greater stop me in the middle of an order so I could go to the restroom, I to this day have back problems because they wouldn't take a incident report because I had to put stock away on my own which contained pop syrup. All because I had to work by myself while the snack bar manager was on vacation. The 2 other workers never showed up or were late.
If I could talk to Sam I would tell him to fire all managers if they didn't do their job and manage their department and learn about what they sell. I would hope he would turn the tables and get his stores back the way he started. Make his CEO's work on a desk made of an old door and saw horses like he did.

    ReplyDelete
  172. well I guess when you are a former employee and try to comment about a injury that a incident report was denied you get turned down on a comment. Also get turned down a comment on how managers need to learn their department. Oh did I mention that if I could talk to Sam I would tell him he should fire all Mangers who didn't learn their department and have control over their employees who stood around talking and not being helpful to customers.!
And that the CEO's should have desk made out of old doors and saw horses like Sam had!!
